    There are very few 0 attack minions that you will wind up being "stuck" with though.  Mage can't even summon any besides neutral minions and their mirror images with taunt. which the opponent generally has to deal with and if you're completely desperate to free up a minion spot you could use your hero power to destroy them.  The class that needs to look out for being "stuck" with something is warlocks and their Demonic Portals.  Once you have 10 mana crystals they're really not very useful anymore.

    You do have a point with the mage, though it does seem like a bigger drawback to have to use your hero power to pop one of your own sheeped or hexed minions...but it's not that big a deal.

    Keep in mind that the more removal cards they have, the fewer minions and win conditions they have, so that makes your own board control all that much more valuable.

    You CAN get gold in f2p.  You get a certain amount of cards by doing the tutorial and basic games (I'm not in the beta so I don't know exactly how much), and then you get anywhere from 1-3 dailies you can do for ~40g each, and then you get 5 gold for every 5 games you win.  Packs are bought for 100g and an Arena entry is 150g.

    Keep in mind, though, that the game is still in beta and prices and rewards are likely to change over the course of the testing.

    Overload works by locking X number of mana crystals during your next turn.  For example, if you have 3 mana and Lava Burst your opponent, next turn you will only have access to 2 mana (4 - Overload{2})

    As for your deck, the major problem with having tons of low cost, but small, minions is that if you come across an opponent with good board control, once you hit the midgame, you are liable to stall right out.  This is particularly true given the fact that you have no card drawing power in the deck.

    Maybe private chat channels would be an option.  Something like an IRC chatroom where you have to know the name, and potentially password, so that people could talk ingame without the potential for being harassed by trolls.

    Given the vitriol of people in Blizzard's other games when they've started to lose, I don't think it's a good idea to have as a default.

    However, as a caveat, I would like to see some sort of easily-disableable General chat function on the lobby screens, because there seems to be a very much single-player vibe going on until you get a match.

    I think there's the possible slots for dailies, but there have been a number of people who have reported getting only a single daily on a given day.  Could be a bug, though.

    Maybe if it were a bit more interesting than a 4/5, taking another card to make it useful would be acceptable, but not as it stands.  Even in Arena, where a 4/5 body is decent, it takes one of your all-too-important Silences, which would be better served hitting one of your opponent's bombs.

    However, this isn't to say there won't be an option in a future expansion that might turn out to work quite well with it.

    posted a message on The Official "1 Gold per Win!?" Thread

    I agree with what seems to be the majority opinion on here.

    1g per is more insulting than rewarding and doesn't really provide any incentive to play other than to finish whatever dailies you have that day.  Playing for fun is all good, but Blizzard should have seen from the WoW mandatory dailies backlash in 5.0 that there needs to be some sort of immediate tangible reward to playing instead of just a pat on the back with a "You're 1% closer to your goal than you were 10 minutes ago! That's something!"

    Honestly I think the reward should be randomly between 5g and 12g per win.  The randomness means you can't just decide to play for x number of hours knowing you'll get a pack in that amount of time, it may be more or it may be less.  And it would be even better if there was a way to tie the reward to how well you played the game, but that might prove to be too subjective for a reward.
