     Since you draw a lot you are expected to hold those cards in your hand by then I think twisting nether is MEH in this deck but warmage is really good and I foundmyself lacking 4 damage to finish the game most of the time..

    It was nerfed for wild actually if you see the timing of it's nerf.. it was nerfed around 2 months before it's rotation.

    Yeah rafaam isn't good in handlock.. it's probably not that good in zoo either  he is fun but the legendary pool currently sucks quite a lot  on average.

    I think the warmage version is the best one, since what I realized is that when you lose you either get rushed down or you are missing a few hit points on your opponent, and warmage covers that..

    Sadly I stopped trying to optimize handlock.. it's just a worse mage, there are only a few tools that warlock has that mage doesn't and mage just does that much better, if a giant survives in handlock you get 8 damage in, if it survives in mage you probably won the game.

    A few points about your card choices:

    Healing: healing is expensive, you lose tempo to heal, since there is currently no demon synergy, arasi broodmother is just MEH in handlock, would rather get rid of all healing and add more early game in the form of the silence package and shadowflames, those are much stronger actually since the best way to "recover" hp is not to lose it in the first place, play more taunt givers.

    Also twisting nether is a weak card in handlock, your gameplan is not to control the game, but to overwhelm your opponent in the midgame with big threats every turn (sadly mage is better at it currently) -1 twisting nether, and yes 3 spells are enough for 2 warmages.

    I hink I should try to go on a different direction with handlock try cards that weren't tried before and try to find a niche that is different of that of mage.

     What are u on? thats not insane at all, decks with under 50% winrate are trash deck

     it's a winrate over a large sample size including a lot of bad players who lower the win rate, every deck im the meta runs weapon removal of some kind and people build decks with rogue in mind.. the win rate should go down drastically but it doesn't. druid was at 60%+ so was zoo but people started teching against it and it's much lower

     Heh - I've actually been campaigning for Sap to be dropped down to 1 mana for some time now. At 2 mana it's too underpowered for most uses. The idea tat someone thinks it should be actually made even worse than it is is frankly hilarious! Lol!

     The amount of times I play against rogue in the latter turns and think about worst case scenarios it's includes sap most of the time. sap is by no means underpowered, I can actually see blizzard nerfing it to 3, I am not really into nerfing it but I think the card is on the strong side of the rogue toolkit, even if it's normally a 1 of it's mostly because it's not good against opposing rogues and rushing mechs of warrior..

     But that would lead to a huge power spike for Odd Rogue in wild. Remember? That mode still exists...

     huge? nah I don't think it's such a big deal odd rogue doesn't have prep.. sap is by no means a 4 mana effect though I mean.. you can kill a minion for 4 if it's undamaged or for 5 for no condition...

    it will be played there for sure but it won't break the deck, if does already way more broken stuff
