no it won't. it will summon a dormant version. the original minion becomes a ratking (which isn't dormant because it hasn't died yet) and you get a copy of ratking to hand.

I'd put money on it that this is how it will work (as it's already been confirmed by blizzard that this is how it works)

you also get a copy to hand as well (this has been confirmed by Blizz to Zeddy, he mentioned it in his review of the card)

Mountain bear, Rat King and Sunken Saber. This is going into Big Beast, it doesn't need to be a full Death Rattle deck.

All we have to do is take out Batty Guest (and TBH we are spoiled for 1's anyway) and this makes only the add's from Hydra as a bad pull. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to play around that as well though, so not an issue.

I'll definitely be running this immediately to test out. I had become a little bored of the "infuse" hunter style as had played it all last month, but this new card is enough to stoke the fire again.

I imagine Hunter will be getting nerfed in the next balance patch (but it probably already was before the new mini set anyway)

Yeah man, I think it's just pure Copium.

Down Voting my comment isn't going to change the power level of the card.

The fact that it's for an already stacked class right now as well just further cements the fact that this card is the best card in the set.

Ofc I could be wrong, but I'd not have said anything if I wasn't confident I was right in this case.

it doesn't need to "spawn" a deck, it will go right into a Big Beast deck as is.

100% this card is going to be great.

That is true, but it's also true that they limit the power of certain classes on purpose. this is on rotation and there is always going to be one class that is way worse than the others... even though cards are designed well in advance, they also plan for this ahead of time, and if things don't go the way they planned, they just nerf the class into the ground (like what they did with warrior)

I think paladin was a bit different as with pally being on top, weapon removal would be everywhere and this would just ruin paladin anyway as they really relied on Cariel... I honestly think that by keeping paladin a more niche class right now, it saves them from the weapon removal spam they'd have faced otherwise.

Think about it though, weapon removal would completely ruin paladin.  and maybe they just didn't want weapon removal to be prevalent as it would mess up some other decks too. enrage warrior also would be absolute dumpster juice if people were running weapon removal. I think the choice to have these two classes at the bottom was a calculated one.

I love playing both of these classes as well, and I honestly don't mind it. I still really enjoy enrage warrior despite it being like a 5 year old deck in terms of what it can do when compared to the top tier decks, but I enjoy it. (always been a fan of low health/high damage builds. I was a Moon Knight main in Marvel Heroes)

because that's the design philosophy of HS. It's already known that it's warrior and paladin's time to be at the bottom, so they were not going to give them anything too good.

Granted Paladin might be in a much better place with these cards (and enrage warrior will greatly benefit from the weapon card) but I don't think these 2 classes will get their turn on top again until the after the next full rotation.

Think of it this way, if paladin was the best, everyone would run weapon removal which would make it suck to play. Paladin (with the Cariel hero card being the best thing they have) is actually better being a niche class right now, they'd suffer more if everyone was playing them because everyone would run Viper.

I actually think this was a calculated choice to keep Weapon removal out of standard, as it would hurt a lot of decks.

Also Pirate warrior was a real problem not long ago, they had to clip warriors wings (or so I heard, I was on a break at the time)

This being said, I'm still enjoying playing both classes. I really like enrage warrior, and I think the weapon draw card is a very welcome addition. I don't like playing the most broken stuff all of the time as it feels cheap, I like to play under dog decks and still win with them, then I feel a sense of accomplishment a lot of players feel this way, and that's why there always must be lower power levels classes in game.

Not to mention it's the only way bad players can win. if all classes had ultra-busted stuff, they'd never win because they need to play OP against terrible, LoL.

the effect is busted. you get the card to hand, copy it's effect and set it off. how is that not nuts? LoL.

it won't be that bad considering you also get a fresh rat king to hand. I don't think I'll cut rat king, at least not at first.

and in case you wanted to argue the point on the wording, it's already been confirmed by Zeddy who spoke to Blizz... This is how it works.

You get the card to hand, you copy the effect and set it off.

That being said, I do think that Big Beast will be rebuilt to make the most out of this card. I doubt it'll just be slot into existing decks.

Confirmed that this card also gives you the card you discover to hand as well. this is ultra-busted. probably the best card in the set.

Looks cool. I missed all the Sunken City character skins though :(

Don't have that coin or the cardback neither... it's a nice CB though so I'll be buying it with G once it is available. I wish they'd make the hero skins buyable with Gold as well.

Did you end up sticking with samuro in your version? I like the inclusion of the taunt spell, but it might be too slow.

I think a the fastest, most aggressive version of the deck will be best. I know Riot can work pretty well, but feno has been playing a pure aggro version that has the current highest winrate. The same size is still just under 500 though, while Kiblers version has a very similar winrate (albeit a few points lower) and that has nearly 3k games recorded on HS replay.

For players climbing in a new league I think Enrage warrior probably does best. I take it this version you have made is getting it to work at Legend? I guess that makes sense. For climbing the lower ranks though, I think Feno's is probably best right now. I guess we'll see what the mini set brings that might help the deck out.

Warrior is dead last right now though in general winrates.

posted a message on Sire Denathrius is overpowered bull**** and makes Malygos and CThun pointless to play.

I don't even run the card in a lot of decks.

Firstly if you don't run it, it can't be stolen (and thief decks are incredibly popular right now)

Secondly, putting it into every single deck is just bad. Yes it's a great card and it can fit into a lot of decks, but it's not as OP as a lot of people make out it is, if it was then it would be in absolutely, every single deck.

it's not in any of the warlock decks, and they're all good. It's not in Naga priest (also very good) Big Beast Hunter is cutting it in a lot of cases (although this is one deck where I still run the card, as we don't have much board clear and the heals are great)

Since the OP combo with Kael'Thas has been removed for all but 3 x decks (Relic DH can still Bran/Den because they can reliably reduce the cost of cards) Ofc ramp Druid can do it later in the game due to having more mana crystals, and Shaman can get the same results in other ways, albeit over multiple turns. I don't think it's even close to being a problem any more.

Yeah it's a good card and it can win games, it's not as bad as people are making out though, especially since not everyone can double it up in one turn any more, only 2 decks can do this now

posted a message on What are you using to climb this month?
    Quote from MoonUnit >>

Midrange Shaman (every website is calling it Control Shaman - it isn't). Meati's build (code below) seems amazingly consistent and it's got me to legend easily this month after about a year and a half of not playing. Vicious Syndicate advocates cutting Crud Caretakers for a second Devourer and a piece of tech but I have tested a few of these tweaks and imo they are low player-agency options and are only better if you aren't playing correctly. Its definitely worth watching his stream to see the flow of the deck. If you play it like a control deck you'll get stomped, you need to play for tempo pretty much every turn as you don't have reliable clears and will struggle to take the board back once you've lost it. Understanding matchups is very important and being able to adapt your game plan based on the game state is critical (sometimes you are aiming for a Denathrius/Macaw win over a few turns, sometimes you're playing for a blowout with Clownfish into Bolner/Mutanus/baby nagas, sometimes you will scam a 10 drop on turn 3 with a Gnoll into Coin Muck Pools [possible on 2 if you open Schooling as well] etc). Really fun deck, games play out very differently and if you play it well enough you'll go positive against everything except Relic DH.

Only downside to the deck is it is very expensive (>20k dust). Lucky for me I had 3 complete expansions to DE when I came back to playing. If you're looking to cut legendaries, Cookie and Flurgl are probably the least important (but both can decide games and you'll need something comparable to boost your Murloc count). Okani is situational as well but if you're in the lead he can seal the game. Denathrius, Mutanus, Bolner and Brann are absolutely needed for the deck to win games and Glugg gives you an alternative win condition against decks that lack removal so I'd be hesitant to run the deck without him.

I've been playing some of this shaman list as well. I'm not very good with it yet though. also if anything it's a mid range/control hybrid.

Also I think what constitutes as a "control" deck in HS is wildly different to traditional TCG's. It's a much faster paced game with heavy-RNG mechanics. I don't think a classic Control Deck even exists in HS right now. The closest thing are like the Mirror/Thief decks.
