Incanter’s Flow, as well as any other mana discounting card, should have "to the minimum of 1" added. To safe space they can even make it default behaviour unless explicitly stated otherwise on the card.

At this point blizz should just release: "0 mana; Starts the game in your hand; toss a coin, head you win, tails you loose. ". Although it still might be to slow for some people, so maybe add something like: autocast this at the start of the game.

Great, another face-race brain dead card. I know that hearthstone is supposed to be more flashy and less complicated compaired to competition but that's getting rediculous.

I have only two questions:

1 What's chinese government opinion on the topic - after all it would be a pity if the developers got their game banned on such a huge market (go go China!)?

2 How much we can sue Blizzard if they ever loose or have our data stolen. After all it's a ton of personal information?

Jokes aside, I understand they try to prevent boting but they are stepping a bit too far in my opinion.

 And what counter to mage would emerge if warlock is nerfed? Out of control decks warlock has one of if not the best winrate against spell mage.

 What? That metaphor doesn't work AT ALL. The Core Set isn't just a free bonus, it's a REPLACEMENT of the basic and classic sets. People earned classic cards, built up a collection of them, and Blizzard decided that even classic wasn't safe from being rotated. Better example:

Guy: You sold my car? The one that I owned and paid for?

Other Guy: Yeah but I got you a new one.

Guy: Can I at least keep that one?

Other Guy: No. You're borrowing it.

 I take it you haven't actually looked at your set to see how incorrect your comment is?
Because when I look in mine, I can see all the cards I collected, alongside all the NEW cards that I got literally for free without having to do anything for them.

Back to heartstone, you are telling me that I should be happy that I can't use my classis collection in standard anymore but instead I can use slighly altered version of it for free but only as long as Blizzard wants it to be free. Great...

OP has 1700 dust and is asking if the card is any good. What should I say - sure craft it - and potentially struggle on ladder for the next month or two. I'm quite sure that if OP was only interested in having fun he would simply craft it without even posting here. Experimenting is a privilege of wealthy.

I love how Mercenaries feels. I love having the ability to outthink or outwit my opponent. I really love not losing to random out of nowhere scenarios, like we have in Standard mode. And the RNG is now in our hands!!  

Decision making in Mercenaries puts the outcome in our hands because we decide what attacks what etc....however, there is still a random element, because we dont know exactly what out opponent will decide, and or what minion they will pick to replace any that just died. 

Thank you for giving us more control over the outcome of games. Now can you make sure the meta doesnt get stale so fast and keep making new cards and evolving the game.

Because the algorithms utilized probably don't really care about the top players, as far as sales are concerned.

I've talked about Acti-Blizzard in the past, and how they own a patent for utilizing matchmaking to drive microtransaction sales - and it does so specifically by analyzing psyche profiles (every action in game, from random clicks to mulligan choices are tracked) by matching veteran players with less experienced players, in order to incentivize the less experienced players to buy products they may want.

It's not much of a stretch to say that HSreplay might not be able to track such things because of incomplete information pertaining to those psyche profiles, and that individual players might have their matchups tweaked with to drive sales, in such a way that also happens to line up with wins/losses being skewed positively or some people, and negatively for others, and the whole thing comes out as net neutral in aggregate.

Put another way: It's not necessarily rigging for/against a particular person's winrates, but may be putting greater weight on certain matchups to drive sales independently of what the winrate is for that player.

I imagine that OP is the type who thinks it's inherently bad that a deck like, say, Quest Mage is in the format. I absolutely do not think so. I actually quite like playing decks that draw lots of cards and cheat mana. I'm pretty confident that I'll have an opportunity to butt heads with either the OP or their ideological clones in the future.

But today is not that day. For me, this meta is like drowning on Mountain Dew: it's too much of a thing I like. Or, liked; I'm so far beyond full, I don't want any more.

One thing that really drove this home for me is achievement hunting. I decided this season I'd try to get as many gameplay achievements as I could, and the resulting experience has been unpredictably samey. Mage Weapon achievement? Literally counts how much you reduce Cost. Warlock Weapon achievement? Literally counts how much you reduce Cost. Demon Hunter Quest achievement? I'll give you one guess. Next up is the Garrote achievement, which will involve cheating Cost and drawing pretty much my whole deck with a FOURTH class.

I really like having at least one solid, competitive deck that can do these types of combo things. But this meta feels like some kind of dystopia where EVERYONE is forced to like the things I like, dress the way I dress, look the way I look. I know some of these fellow travelers are deeply unhappy, because their jam is not my jam. And I don't really feel like I'm winning against different archetypes, either. Every match feels like some variation of a mirror match. Can I go off before opponent goes off?

So, yes, even my unabashedly combo lovin' self is not really having fun. It feels like something from that Wishmaster horror series, to be frank.

Somehow i appreciate the current state of the game, since its one step closer to finally deleting and forgetting this game. But since i wasted a lot of time to collect all my cards, its a natural instinct to not randomly delete everything.

 Actually, no. He did mention the lack of interactivity, which is unique to this expansion. Even if it has existed somewhat in the past (and I actually don't recall it ever being a primary complaint), the "solitaire" effect has never been this extreme.

Having a new reason to hate a new expansion is reason enough to create a thread IMO.

And this isn't even as bad as it's going to get. The Rogue OTK hasn't fully exploded yet because a lot of players have not yet gotten the hang of it. Once more people learn how to use it, we'll be wishing for a return to Lunacy Mage.

This meta is truly shocking. The new quests although fun for now, create so many dead-games and in such a reliable way that it really makes you question if this game's worth your time anymore. Many others have mentioned how repetitive the game is with the new quests, and I agree.

Agree. Even streamers are calling the game solitaire...

I miss playing minions trading and shit. For now I'm back to AFK farming BG and playing something that's actually fun.

There’s way more to it than that now. There’re too many ridiculous draw cards and piss easy OTKs in the game for that to work. All it would do is weaken aggro decks. 

There’re literally tens of cards that are dreadfully designed and have no business being in the game. Like an above poster mentioned, it’s really unlikely that the meta will ever return to the way it was even two or three years ago because it would require a hard reset… which incidentally Blizzard actually did four months ago and somehow made it even worse than ever.

 you are probably right. when they first started introducing a big amount of mana cheating cards a few years ago the game completely broke for a while, and they had to do tons of nerfs. but instead of learning their lesson, they seem detemined to bring even more ridiculous mana cheating cards every single new expansion. it's beyond frustrating to see how they've been increasing the tempo of card power creep over the last few expansions.
