Deathgripz posted a message on Post-Nerf Legend Hearthstone Decks - See You Later Giggling InventorPosted in: NewsHopefully Blizzard looks at these decks in the meta right now and learns something with regard to creating cards that have value actually being used from a recent Xpac. I'm not talking OP or unfair, but playable compared with cards from previous releases combined with standard cards. As it stands in the lists above, only the Warrior deck actually utilizes a good percentage (30%) of cards from Boomsday. The Paladin deck I think has 0 cards, the Druid has 1 (Floop), Quest Rogue has 1 (Lab Recruiter), and the Hunter deck(s) have 3 (Zilliax & Spider Bombs). All in all, 6 decks (180 Cards) with a total of 17 cards (9.4%) from Boomsday. If you remove the Warrior deck, it is down to 8 out of 150 (5.3%).
Who knows though, maybe some of the other cards will be a better fit after next Xpac / Rotation? Just sucks to open all those packs and have them sit for months and months largely unplayable.

CypherBenkes posted a message on Supercollider: A heads up.Posted in: Card DiscussionQuote from CypherBenkes >>Warrior is overall performing very poorly in the meta right now. Just because a few skilled players had some success with the card, doesn't mean the card is good. A deck doesn't have to be top-tier to reach Legend. So long as it isn't complete trash and is played well by someone with enough time and patience, it can make it. All sorts of stuff makes it to Legend. Doesn't mean every single card in the list is worth 5 stars.
What you're suffering from here is confirmation bias. You like the card and want it to be good, and because a few people you respect have found some degree of success with it, you jump to the conclusion that it must therefore be as good as you think it is.
Spoilers: Card's still trash. It's just catching some people by surprise because, believe it or not, no one's running it because it sucks.
You have to keep in mind that one of, if not THE best Warrior player is calling it a staple in Control Warrior. It's not confirmation bias when you realize that the best Warrior player we have is calling it a staple. If your reading comprehension is as good as your sass, you'll find yourself a seat and sit down.
Just because he's a top-tier warrior player, doesn't make him the be-all-end-all opinion when it comes to all warrior decks. In the tweets you posted he not only said that he only believes in running it as a 1-of, but he also compares it negatively to Blood Razor. He's not even running it in the list in that screenshot!
How about you spend less time flinging excrement at people who disagree with your unpopular opinions and bring us some replays of you wrecking the meta with the card. Until then, I think you should take that seat yourself.
*mic drop*
Flinging excrement? No, my friend, I'm merely trying my best to make you aware that it is useful to players who know what they're doing. I'll concede to the point that it's likely best used at higher ranks, still, others are reporting their success. Again, I'll make mention that even the founder of Data Reaper says that it's busted. Data Reaper is a quite reputable source of information, and once again, one of our best Warrior players says it's a staple.
The best you've done here today is keep that mic on the ground away from your ungrateful handling.

strudel_hs posted a message on Keleseth & Kangor ArmyPosted in: Paladinbecause any handbuff effect will count towards magnetic-buff but only if you merge via magnetic. if you play your handbuffed mechs as single minion without magnetic and it dies.. it will not get revived with val'anyr or any handbuff stats.
handbuffed Skaterbot 5/3 + Val'anyr deathrattle -> magnetize with Glow-Tron -> 6/6 Glow-Tron + Val'anyr deathrattle via Kangors Endless Army
handbuffed Skaterbot 5/3 + Val'anyr deathrattle -> played without magnetic -> 1/1 Skaterbot via Kangors Endless Army
any keleseth buff would work same as Val'anyr.. so it is important to merge handbuffed-mechs via magnetic to keep the stats/buffs.. and it only works with handbuffs and not with spells ala Blessing of Kings..
why do I think it works that way? I asked the blizzard devs about that interaction and they confirmed it.

MadnessIncarnate posted a message on So Far Hearthstone still #1 P4P DTCG king ? Which card games do u think is a threat to hearthstone domination ?Posted in: General DiscussionPersonally, I'm soon going to drop HS completely because of MtG:A. It's so much more fun and challenging without all the RNG bs. Not counting card draw, that's just part of playing cards. As for P2W, I've been playing beta from the get go, and their latest iteration is IMO much better that HS.
On a larger scale HS and MtG:A have the same base economy, with drafting in MtG:A being more profitable than Arena in HS, especially when you get good at it. Weekly and daily rewards are very good too. As for gameplay itself, HS can't even hold a candle to MtG.
The thing that HS has over MtG:A is that it's more casual and you can play it on your phone.
As for Gwent, I liked it, it's innovative and fun, but considering it's PC only, I'd rather play MtG instead.
I never could get into Legends for some reason, it never clicked for me.

Easy. This is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. What did you think people would do on a forum? If you don't want to participate or view these threads then don't. No one is pointing a gun at your head and coercing you to spend your time viewing deck building threads.

I recommend removing 2 x Seaforium Bomber and make better card draw option: Augmented Elekk+ 2x Fal'dorei Strider
This also helps Lab Recruiter have more flexibility instead of hoping for RNGesus to answer your prayers with the bomb card draw. (I get that is part of the enjoyment of this deck)

Here is my take on it:

Hearthstone, MTG: Arena (Beta), Faeria gamer here, guys check out Faeria, it’s really great.

So you friend requested a stranger who was spamming emotes to ask him why he does that? Ahahahahaha, what did you think was going to happen? Do you think by sending him a friend request he would all of a sudden care about your feelings?

@OP Sure, people can call you entitled because you think the world owes you something. Anyways "people fighting the good fight" as you try to crusade it are really just a bunch of whiny punks bitching about the "first world" problems. Try living in a third world country and tell us how much a free MJ is that important to you.

Here is my version of the deck. I've been revising it over and over. I'm even thinking of dropping both Explodinators in favor of more early game survival tools or more magnetic + mech synergy. Also, Healing or Tech: Rotten Applebaum, and possibly a tech sub:Mossy Horror depending on the meta.
I have a decent outline of how to play the deck so feel free to give me a +1 if you like the direction this deck is going in.

Your early game presence is strong but it's hard to say if Boommaster Flark is enough of a win condition. Adding Deathstalker Rexxar will give you the ability to keep you in a game against a control deck, (Lifesteal zombeast for example)
I will say I did forget about Fungelmancer so I might just drop Zilliax in favor of better synergy for Goblin Bombs and my Devilsaur eggs. I don't have many mechs in my deck outside of all the Goblin Bombs.
I'm hesitant about Spider Bomb, I don't care for the RNG... so if you play it you will have to pay very close attention on controlling the randomness. The problem with that is... you always want to make favorable trades and you won't always be able to remove the board the way you want to specifically target the minion you want to hit with that deathrattle proc.

Yea, I think the most successful version of this deck won't have as much Goblin Bomb synergy, probably just enough to get the job done. It's hard to say how much without play testing. I love the idea of using Zola to get a 2nd Boommaster Flark, it's so greedy, lol.

Squelch them and just play.
