Balance Patch on Thursday - Battlegrounds, Standard & Wild Changes Incoming
We've been waiting for a patch since the Return to Naxxramas mini-set launched, and now we have a preview of the changes incoming. The changes and the patch Patch itself will be released on Thursday.
neptulon dodges the nerf once more...
Neptulon is a 10 mana card in a balanced scenario, theres nothing wrong about that card.
I suppose that ArcyroX was talking about turn 2 Neptulon in Wild when played by priest.
Oh ok, i dont play wild but still its not neptulon but the card that summon it by turn 2 the real problem.
Standard fans downvoting you mate.
Meanwhile, Wild enjoyers feel you :(
yes I was, thank you. they said this will be a wild mode balance patch also, so I was expecting neptulon to get hit or illuminate, as it has created a very polarizing meta for a long time
Nice, but how does this change my experience of 9 out of 10 games against DK Bots though
Construct Quarter is honestly their main carry. If it get nerfed, their winrate go back closer to 50. They are still powerful but other powerful decks will keep it in check. Who thought a 3 mana location that give you 3 4/5 is gonna be op when the condition of Token is easily met.
Nice to see all the Battleground discussion 😒
more ez climb then!!! fuck big priest!!
Finally the 'just concede if you don't want to just watch your opponent play and you get no turns' bird is nerfed. However, with it and Discolock and Pillager rogues dead (cause this is how Bli$$ard does nerfs), brace yourselves for Priest and Druid dominated meta all over again. Plus the return/rise of uninteractive Shudder/Freeze Shaman. Fun times ahead...
I wish Blizzard were faster with their nerfs. It shouldn't take more than 3 days or so to realize how warped the metagame was.
Also no buffs this patch? I highly doubt these nerfs will be enough to bring Warrior up from its abysmal winrate.
It *is* weird. I would imagine a week is enough to notice something going haywire?
recast spell 6 or more inc
no Big Priest nerf in Wild? Neptulon escaped the nerf again? I guess we gotta wait for another year, or until it is 2-3 weeks away 2024 rotation, we might see something just like Goldshire Gnoll Grey Sage Parrot
ok shaman is dead again ;)
Does Cataclysm see much use other than OTK decks?
No
It's the engine for discard warlock in wild :)
More no than yes, but discard warlock is dominant right now and is pretty much an OTK deck, and Cataclysm allows all of its damage on discard cards go straight to the face.
