posted a message on "Biggest Minion" bug?

So, I tried the new C'Thun + Whelp Smuggler dragons interaction and ended up with my "biggest minion" so far, a 190/718 Evolving Chromawing. However, the "Biggest Minion" accounted for on stats says 190/662. What gives? There were no combat buffs, 190/718 were the stats at start.

Oh yes...because blizzard's games have been so amazing the recent years...I mean people are robots and are 100% efficient even if they are under stress and harassed. Companies' working enviroment is completely irrelevant to their final product!Totally, for sure, certainly...yeap.

You are to judge the final product though, not everything else. For the rest there's supposingly a justice system. You wouldn't be using 90% of your every day products if you acted this way. You wouldn't want to compare i.e. the working conditions in coffee bean farms or in shoe making factories to those of a California based gaming company. In this case, the system even seems to be doing its job. We are to comment on the product, I find it more logical to have a gamer outlash over Warcraft Reforged than let's say a bullying incident of an employee within the company.

posted a message on [BLIZZARD SUE / LAWSUIT] Hearthstone's card reveal schedule canceled after Alliestrasza and Lt. Eddy callouts

So guys, I am interested in trying LoR (Runeterra) card game, but I need some information because I'm not familiar with the company behind it:

    a) What are the political stances of the creators? Which sides are they supporting if any in major conflicts across the globe? (Palestine/Israel, China/Hong Kong etc, especially curious about their stance on the Aegean Sea disputes cause I'm greek). Extra information about some of the political parties that the company top heads have voted for/support are also welcome.

    b) Is the company environmentally friendly and against animal cruelty? I hope all materials used within the company are biodegradable and not animal tested, and that the game servers are powered by renewable sources.

    c) I hope every race/colour/sex/gender/religion and belief is equally represented and paid, and that the company top heads are well distributed. Seeing how the shareholders that are members of the board in a company are usually too few to have representation of every group I can think of, they should be as diverse as possible, i.e. an atheist communist asian bisexual male that identifies as a female with visual impairment, a conservative Christian transgender vegan black woman etc.

    d) Is every person within the company screened for criminal activity in their personal life? I wouldn't want to play the game just to find out 2 years in that a person of the staff is a wife beater or that the cleaning lady does drugs.

    e) Despite it being a corporation, I wouldn't want the end goal of the product, the game, to be money and profit but the promotion of gaming as an art form and as a means to soothe the soul in these troubling, difficult times. I would want it to be 100% free with no microtransactions, no paid cosmetics and free expansions. Also guaranteed support for at least 50 years and live servers, in case I want to show my grandchildren what I used to play when I was their age. Now if the creators want to give back to the community and send me some pocketmoney through PayPal or credit card for playing the game it would be considered a plus.

Thanks in advance for providing me with the crucial information every sane gamer would need before enjoying their hobby. I know you guys are really up to date with all that so it won't be that troublesome.

EDIT: Stop sending me private messages about how the game works, the art, the world building, the sound and other irrelevant stuff. We are here for the activism, not to actually play the game.

Yeah missing for me too. Also, I can't get the hero skin whereas tavern regular achievement appears completed.

Also I love how "missing" command now doesn't take into account my golden cards. New collection manager is a clusterfuck, needs immediate fix.

posted a message on "If you are bored with standard then play wild" *big sigh*
    Quote from SpaceTimeDream >>

Well, I played wild until I reached Platinum rank and from there forward all I see are 3 decks, Secret Mage, Zoo Self-Damage Warlock and Resurrect Big Priest.

All the cards in the world made available and people just netdeck and play 3 decks. Why people buy packs with real money for if they end up using a very small limited pool of them?

I realize that am probably exaggerating things but playing Wild just proved to be the same as Standard. People netdecking with no promise of experimenting and making their own homebrewed decks. I am curious what happens with the physical TCG, if they too experience netdecking

    Rant over.

Well, people suck the fun out of games because the vast vajority of them play only to win.

Let me give you an equivalent: Back when we were kids, my friends and I used to play an amazing (for its time) soccer game on the SNES, Kick Off 3. It had an amazing depth of play, really complicated combinations, a cool dribbling system and challenging AI...

Until we found a glitch. You could press the high cross button from a specific area around the center of the field and it would fly straight to the goal, 100% score chance without fail. The game soon devolved to who can get to the center in the right location and abuse this more times within the match limit. I tried to impose a no-glitch rule but the other kids lost their interest in the game and eventually gravitated to other ones. Why? Because without it they had no chance of beating my best friend and me who played more hours and thus could play better.

It's the same reason why 90% of soccer fans are with the top teams. People don't like to lose even when they don't play themselves.

Physical TCG used to be way better than this, (bar magic, which was more "serious" and people had the same shitty philosophy). The reason was they were ridiculously expensive, especially when you were <18 years old. You could not collect everything nor predict the way the meta would evolve (and there were not a lot of  balance changes because it was difficult to do), so you usually picked a hero/faction/class or whatever the game had and you mained it. Everyone played different shit/what they liked, and it wasn't always competitive. In Hearthstone terms, everyone knew the others by deck, and few people had more than 3-4 real decks. You were the "Galvadon dude" or the "Barnabus main". In tournaments people from other areas would come and you could see in hearthstone terms matchups like Murlock Warlock VS spell damage Hunter. And guess what: It was awesome.

Nowadays, you only have 1 way out: To have a good amount of RL firends or internet friends decent enough to have an understanding amongst you and play a game the way you want to. Otherwise, all games devolve into maximum-efficiency play to win crap, no fun allowed, no experimentation, nothing. See what happened to Overwatch. That's why Blizzard try to make it into a PvE experience so that people can actually pick their playstyle and hero and still win.

I like the artwork, what I would love would be the option to see the full art by clicking. It is the only Runeterra feature I would desperately want in Hearthstone.

I don't understand how this is a good card. Deal 3 for 2 at max is very solid, but it can't be used until turn 10! This card seems worse than useless!

2 AoE for 2mana is where this will find the more use. Mid-game AoE that can be easily woven into turns. Plus we must wait and see if we'll get a holy spell booster.

Edit: This is a 2mana consecration. Not bad.

Good question, I don't have an answer but in your case I'd simply try and see. You can do it after you reach a new ranked floor if you are scared of losing.

After this rotation, you will get her for free. After the next rotation, you need to craft her (assuming she leaves the core set, which is unlikely).

Still sucks to have cards available only through crafting, especially with how high the dust cost is. Then again, Im one year early with my concern, they might figure out a better method by then.
