There is good deck and there is "playing same deck as everyone else" even if the deck is good .. of course that to the end of beta people started to netdeck more and decks started to be pretty much same for a lot of people but the deck variety was much wider than nowdays
Because decks were not as refined as they are today, because there are only so many decks that have a consistent record and yes that means playing the same deck as everyone else because that combination of cards (apart from tech cards) is the best combination for that archetype-class combo.
If you want to play a deck with Core Hound, Angry Chicken and Murloc Raider be my guest, but don't expect others to run bad cards for the sake of variety.
Interesting... I also played during the beta and I remember a very different picture than the OP does.
Lots of people were running OP decks back in the beta, in particular; Aggro Rogue and Freeze Mage / Frozen Giants.
Yes even in October when I started to play in the beta you would encounter one incredibly good deck with just the basic cards: Doctor Draw, a priest deck. Naturally people copied it left and right.
Honestly, if someone is not pulling duplicates yet, they're not really in a position to be crafting anything - not even a Knife Juggler - and certainly not a Doomguard.
That certainly depends on what cards you get. There are so many garbage cards in all four quality levels that you don't see currently and probably won't see anytime soon: That is from Nozdormu, to Hungry Crab to Angry Chicken to Dragonhawk.
I would absolutely advise to dust cards that have no real gameplay value especially when that allows you to complete a cheap, durable deck like zoo.
I've always wondered this, but why do a lot of decks say that they are F2P but include expert cards that you have to unlock through packs or crafting? I always thought F2P meant a deck comprising of only basic cards (thus all the cards you don't have to spend any extra money or time earning besides getting that hero up to level 10)?
What does F2P mean in this case then?
F2P refers to the fact that you can easily get these cards by playing long enough to get the gold for packs as opposed to non-F2P decks that run legendaries and epics. The zero dust decks are generally refered to as budget decks.
Since Noth goes second it can happen turn two and wreck your efforts to mulligan Lightwell and Inner FIre.
However if it's noth (ha!) happening, then you are in for a smooth sailing. I smashed him as he played a Thalnos and then a Flesh Eating Ghoul, I proceeded to push a Power Word: Shield and Inner Fire Lightwell in his face.

Good and now you need to learn that there is only the winning side and the scrub side.

Or that their custom decks gets beaten by a fully tested and refined deck.

Yeah the idea with tracking is to search for the answer you are looking for and not as card draw. What you pick obviously depends on your situation.
