posted a message on Before you open the packs you saved!

Want to hear what other people think about this logic. I'm not sure if the 2k gold deal for the mini set is worth it if you hoarded enough packs. The legendaries seem really lackluster, and if you have around 20 packs you can probably get all the rares and commons for free. I know that the legendaries might become better in the future but aren't 20 packs for the next full expansion more valuable?

posted a message on Introducing the Darkmoon Races Mini-Set! - All New Cards! - Release 21st of January!

No one wants them to not make money. The price of the game is ludicrous compared to the competition. The barrier for new players is insane.
People are quitting HS because of the fucking huge price it has and people can't get into the game because the price for that is even higher. Just look at CoD WZ, the game probably makes more than HS will ever make and there is no P2W BS in the game. On top of that, it is a way more expensive game to make than HS.
The reason the meta gets so stale is because people only play 1 deck, and the reason for that is because people can ONLY afford 1 deck.
For the price of the pre order it should AT LEAST guarantee to get you all the cards of the set (It should probably cost less than that)
New players should probably be able to pay 60 dollars (the price of a regular game) to get all the cards in the current standard rotation. And then since the base game is affordable, then they can start selling cosmetics, and people will feel good about it because the player base is growing  instead of focusing in selling the game to whales you get a healthy amount of new people coming into the game and people quitting the game

I would wait on opening them until they reveal all the cards. Who knows, maybe all the legendaries are crap and you rather just get the rares /commons and save your 2k gold for the next expansion.

posted a message on Weekly quests are too hard and buggy

I just got a weekly quest that asked to play 10 old gods. It's a hard quest to do even when I have the only 2 playable old gods (Y'Shaarj and Yogg) since most games you either win before you can play them or lose before you can use them, I can't imagine how hard to complete this is for F2P. So whatever I re- Rolled it . I got "Play 50 corrupt cards". So I went an played Clown druid. and went out of my way to play as many as I could (played at least 10), when the game was over I only got progress for 1 played card.
Not sure if the quest refers to playing them in their uncorrupted versions (in which case its just stupid because why go out of your way to play the unintended version of a card) or if its just a bug on an already crappy system.

posted a message on Why is everyone in this forum defends this greedy a$$ company?!

Comparing HS to a gacha game shows you how low the game has fallen.  Lets see why the cost of the game is a problem for all players.

F2P players don't want to play the game because there are way cheaper options out there. The only leverage HS has over other card games is the bigger player base. However if F2P players leave, HS starts to lose that advantage because wether you like it or not, most of the playerbase in any F2P game is F2P.

But hey I am P2W, why should I care ? Well if you see another game is getting more popular and the playebase there starts getting bigger than in HS (This is already starting to happen BTW) the only reason to stay in the game is how fun the game is because for what you pay for one expansion here you could probably get the whole collection for those games, and how good is the gameplay compared to those games? This takes us to your last point

Have you seen how queues have been getting longer on high ranks in ladder? How very few of the popular streamers play ladder for the  whole length of the expansion? Ladder gets very stale very quickly and its mostly because of this :

even top tier decks use less than 10 cards from a new expansion. In other words, if you have been playing for example hunter now, all you need is probably craft 5 cards or so and you can continue enjoying the new expansion.

People play one deck for the whole expansion because that's the most efficient AND cheapest way to play the game. No one even tries to play different decks because not only you are going to lose more, its more expensive, so why bother?

So unless you don't care if the game you have spent hundreds of dollars in dies, yes this affects everyone.

posted a message on [Math] Old VS New Reward System [UPDATED]

Gold is strictly better than packs because you get to pick where you spend that gold.

I'm really disappointed at the new reward system. This was a perfect opportunity to lower the cost of the game and instead they just monetized it more. Everyone agrees that the main reason people are quitting the game is the high cost it has. I mean by buying the preorders I could buy Cyberpunk AND Demon's Souls, and still I wouldn't have all the cards for the expansion ( On top of that Blizz had the BALLS to launch the game at the same time as Cyberpunk, they got really lucky they moved the launch date) . The high cost of the game is the main reason for the meta getting  stale so quickly because most people just get enough gold/dust to craft 1 deck and they will craft the most boringly optimized deck to  climb ranked.
Even if you spend enough money every expansion to get every card and don't care about the price of the game, this affects you. You are spending money on a game dependent on it's player base. If the player base quits and the game dies, you are spending money on nothing.

posted a message on please tell me Tickatus is a bad and late april fools joke

Why tf would you play it on turn 4 to burn 5 off your own deck?

And what kind of Warlock deck are you running that drops all other demons to guarantee you pull Tickatus, and can waste turn 3 for a draw 1?

Burning cards off your own deck does not matter unless you are either a combo deck or a control deck that wants to go to fatigue. 4 mana 8/8 for that "drawback" is pretty good. You probably run a demon only aggro/midrange deck. The wasted turn 3 might be too slow though.

posted a message on please tell me Tickatus is a bad and late april fools joke

The card is a piece of crap lol, the best use this card has is in zoo as a 6 mana 8/8 with a "drawback". Control warlock always loses in fatigue so this card doesn't matter there, and combo decks are not strong enough to warrant this as a tech card.

posted a message on How can dis be?

Hey guys, do you still think Zephrys offers good cards? Always offering removals, so why this was Sap better than SW: Death? This is literally opposing problem I had with OP.

That's hilarious XD . Sap was offered because Zeph cant read deathrattles,  and sap was the best answer to a deathrattle on a big body  for 2 mana. I understand why you got mad for the first case because windspeaker made no sense there, but here you could have just played Lord Barov and kill it with the weapon to take no chances with Zeph.

I agree, Also they should stop doing the slow reveal of cards, i know it's to build hype for the expansion but one of the things i liked the most of TCG's as a kid was to open a pack and reading all of the cards from the pack because I had never seen any of them. I hope they do that this time.
