I think you're objectively correct, Tox.  But I come from a corporate background.

It's t-t-t-tea time with Thijs!  Good luck to all the competitors, but especially my favourite Euro streamer!

No.  I got it.  I simply think that your point has zero validity.  Are you some gatekeeper of those worthy of the Hearthstone or other fandoms?  Are you designated as some official arbiter of acceptability?  Are you even a moderator for these forums?

In fact the answer to all of the above is no.  Other people's disagreement with your opinions and/or frustrations does not make them fanboys or incapable of seeing your point.  You could potentially learn the same lesson I'm working on with my young children.  Accept that maybe, just maybe, you're the one who is wrong or needs to make a change in their behaviour here.  Or don't.  And whine how you're better and more open minded than us, however incorrect you may be.

It's the internet.  People have opinions.  If you are unhappy or unwilling to deal with them, don't post on public forums.

Learn to either ignore it or debate it.  It's up to you.

I am a mid to late 30s IT nerd supporting the health care industry.  I'm a father of 2 whose peak rank on ladder was rank 1, 3 stars..  then it all came unraveled.

I probably play Hearthstone for more than 1 game at a time maybe twice or three times a week.  I do love this game.  I'm just not possessed of the same amount of gaming time as I once had.

I see a lot of people who are either wasting their time on a website for a game that they all hate, got lost on their way to the salt thread or both.  Yikes.

Depends whom you ask.  But, I still think its impressive.  It is, if nothing else, a considerable effort.

A lot of people talking about how trash the game will be in April.  It feels fairly obvious to me that this year was about powering down the meta so the currently mediocre cards will rise to the top and be met with whatever comes in April.  I suspect new power things show up in 2019.

Happy new year, everyone.  Be safe and well!
