posted a message on New card - Coliseum Manager

Lol at those "should have charge" or "should have taunt" or "should be 3/5" posts.

The inspire effect can be upside or downside, so basically you can look at this like it had no text.

And a plain 2/5 for 3 Mana is excellent arena stuff. Like it or not, anything better would be OP in arena. Not every freakin new card needs to be incredibly good stuff for constructed, as long it is no Magma Rager I'm fine. Nuff said.

Totally not a bad card for arena. 2/5 with no relevant text for 3 mana is just like a neutral Druid of the Flame, which IS good in arena.

Looks like a pretty cool card, I also like you can get this out a piloted skygolem wich is pretty neat.

posted a message on New Card - Argent Watchman

Are some of you actually playing hearthstone?

This card is almost useless, and some of you still see some potential. First page even had some guys thinking it would fit in a handlock.

You realize there are A LOT 2/3 minions without drawback that are never played, so you basically get one Life at the cost of the drawback. You are NEVER gonna use your heropower just for the purpose to attack with a 2 Attack minion, and on curve you want to spend your mana for some minions or spells (unless handlock, yeah. But Ancient Watcher is much better).

At the same time, everyone yells how bad the 3 Mana 2/5 is, a card with acceptable stats and a minor drawback which isn't relevant at all in most cases. You don't want to heropower often in the earlygame anyways, unless you're handlock. And if you really need to, you still can trade first. While this still is far from being good, it is acceptable. this 2 Mana 2/4 minion with a relativly strong drawback is much worse.

    Great art though.

posted a message on [POLL] How much "skill" does it take to pilot grim patron properly?

I didn't vote at all, as i think it does not really require skill at all to pilot ANY deck correctly.

All it takes is a few games to get used to it, you just need a little experience. And that's it. Anyone can pilot any deck correctly after a couple of games with it.

The only real skill involved in this game is arena.

posted a message on New Rogue Card - Anub'Arak

I believe this is not as bad as many think. Just imagine it being played against you and you can't silence it. You are basically forced to kill it, because of the high Attack. But you don't really want to kill it unless you're able to build up a huge board presence to kinda rush down the rogue, as the dropped 4/4 still is big enough to be a threat to most decks, and you know you're likely to see Anub'Arak again next turn.

The only downside is its 9 mana cost which basically is a whole turn even in the lategame, it would be extremely good for 8.

Still... I could see this and Gallywix in a control rogue.

posted a message on Why are they nerfing Wisp?
    Quote from 1_off_lethal jump

You guys are dumb Wisp is terrible and this isn't even a nerf what're you even talking about??

You must be new to Hearthstone. Every second game I lose is because I have no counter to all the wisps around rank 3 upwards.

Wisp gives you a minion FOR FREE!

Look: Loatheb for example gives 10 stats for 5 mana - 10/5=2, so you get 2 Stats per Mana

Wisp gives 2 stats for 0 mana - 2/0=impossible. Infinite value.

If you have no wisps yet, you really should craft 3 or 4 of them and see how awesome they are.

posted a message on 1000 and Beyond Hero Wins

Still don't like it. I personally want to be able to "complete" games, and I'm looking forward to the point - next month - where all my heroes are golden (and trust me, that was a shitload of hours playtime in more than a year).

Hero-completion requiring 9000 wins, or even more... is way to many.

I haven't seen anyone complaining who already has all golden heroes, asking for another goal to work for. This would be something I could understand, altough I wouldn't like it myself. However, people really ask for a higher limit just to play their (probably one, maybe 2 or 3) golden class/es any further? I really can't understand that logic. To me that sounds like "I do not WANT to be able to complete any class in total".

posted a message on Guy on Reddit has achieved GOLDEN Ragnaros - that's right, 500 wins as Ragnaros

It still counts wins for the original class, same as Jaraxxus. So that guy just hit 500 with any class, while having a Ragnaros hero from Executus. Nothing special.

Nerfing Boom, but making Icehowl a 9 mana 10/10 that freezes the enemy board and is able to hit the hero with charge. Good job. :D
