So these plagues are just project cards from Boomsday. Why are they making this game so inconsistent and confusing. First they decided not to bring certain keywords back because they are one expansion exclusive even though they made more cards that act like those keywords (yes I'm talking about those Echo and Recruit cards) and now they are bringing old mechanic to the game but they are naming it differently. I just don't understand Blizzard's logic. They say that they want to make the game easier to understand for new players but they are making it more confusing instead. Just use one name and stick to it.
If it comes to the card itself I think it will be good in the right deck. If you can use this with a weapon removal right away, it will be even better. Maybe you can use this in a deck based around small minions so your opponent won't get that much value from the weapon. I just wonder if Rogue can afford taking so much face damage without any reliable healing because I assume you would want to kill bigger minions with this weapon. Killing giants is nice but taking 8 damage to the face is not that great. I guess we will have to wait and see.
Can someone explain how exactly Divine Spirit doesn't fit Priest class? How can spell that buffs minions health not fit a class that is based around keeping their minions alive. I just don't understand Blizzard thinking process sometimes. This statement is just as stupid as a decision for not giving certain cards keywords because they want to make some keywords exclusive to certain expansion (Witch's Brew not having echo for example even though it works exactly like other echo cards)
It looks like the best quest so far. Sometimes these spells might not be the best but at least there are minions that can synergize with casting any spell so I think it's pretty decent. But we will see.
You saw the Shaman one right? O_o
Having double battlecries is nice but I don't really see this being that good. Are you really going to build a deck around battlecries? Because you need those minions not only to complete the quest but also to make use of your new hero power. Mage's quest is more flexible because you don't really have to have synergies with spells. Of course having cheap spells for Mana Cyclone or Archmage Antonidas is great but if you don't have them in hand/play your hero power is not useless. It still generates cards that can possibly help you right away. Shaman's hero power requires to have specific minions in hand to even use it in the first place so unless you run 20+ battlecries in your deck it's not going to always be the case. Battlecries are not that strong either. Unless I missing something.
This seems really good. It's an Imp-losion that always deals 4 (with cards like Raid Leader even more) and it can leave bodies to buff. Really interesting.

This is what I've been saying for a long time. Barnes is not the problem. Ressurect mechanic is. You can easily play Big Priest without Barnes and you don't lose much. In fact you avoid pulling him out with Shadow Essence if you don't have him.
Murloc Shaman is the only new deck that I haven't lost against yet. That card is strong but other murlocs in standart are not that great. To be honest Murloc Shaman should have been a lot better in Wild.
I wouldn't be so hyped If I were you. They say the same shit all the time since they released her and she's still not available to this day. The same goes for those gold earning changes that they want to make. They want to make a lot of things but in the end they are only making new heroes for preorders so more people will buy them.
Resurrection it's one of the mechanic. Like Combo or beast synergy for Hunt. It's not new priest identity. And this deck not tier 1 in wild for now, deck has so much counters, and if you teched against it - it just not so powerful, and most importantly, bp is suck, if you have not good draw and hand. Why Barnes is problem? turn 4 or 5 it s just win a game, if your opp doesn't have hex or poly or sap. He must be nerfed not coz of Deck f*cks all in wild (even sham, lock, odd pala is so much better), but coz it's like Naga Sea witch, it s frustraiting losing on turn 4 just because your opp has 1 card.
I've never lost to Priest just because he put out Barnes on turn 4. If he doesn't draw ressurection cards (or you burn them) he's not going to win even with Barnes on turn 4 (Unless he pulls out 2 Y'shaarj but it's not that often). To be honest playing against Odd Paladin is way more frustrating than dealing with Barnes on turn 4.
I still think that Barnes is not the problem but the Ressurection mechanic. I don't have a problem dealing with 1/1 copy of a minion. But I do have a problem that they are ressurected with their full stats instead of 1/1 copies. They should change this mechanic so that if a copy dies the same copy is ressurected, not the fully stated minion. Nerfing Barnes won't change anything.

Omg this is sick. I can see this actually push Highlander Paladin. The only problem is that Bomb Warrior is a thing.

So they are pushing 1 health Paladin deck this expansion? What a weird concept.
