Dude if you wanna get smashed by Dr boom, shredder, and every broken wild combo in the game then go ahead. But you're really just putting yourself at a disadvantage if you don't play the strongest cards in the available sets of the format you're playing.
Shredder and boom aren't good? And bear trap is better?
If what you mean is that power creep has gotten to a point where previously op cards aren't op anymore, then the same reasoning would apply to why getting wild zombeasts would actually be a downside instead of an upside. So I really don't get your logic.
I'd definitely pull out the Grievous Bites and put in two Tundra Rhinos. Tundra Rhinos are key to most hunter decks, as they allow charge for all your other low cost beasts. And with zombeast potential, I think you need them. Also, they are ridiculous if you curve them into Savannah Highmane (possibly protect them with a turn 4 Freezing Trap?)
Cloaked Huntress is pretty key to Secret Hunter as well. You could put two of those in, maybe pull out the Terror Scales (since they are pretty useless early game unless you already have a Kindly Grandmother out. And late game they aren't that great)
You're still going to be hurting for drawing cards, but that's hunters main problem. That's why you have to curve well and end the game fairly quickly (before turn 10 usually).

Quit complaining and just have fun with this game!
I didn't say they weren't good. I didn't say Bear Trap was better either. You said he would get smashed by Shredder and Boom, and my point was that there are other things to worry about, especially with a grown card pool. Previously OP cards can become not OP anymore though, it happens. Shredder has a lot more bad 2 drops to summon now too, so it's not that he isn't good just that it's not as powerful as it was when it was a new card. Also, Dr Boom used to win games on the spot; when was the last time you saw that happen?

So I was lucky enough to open up Professor Putricide and Deathstalker Rexxar and tried to make a deck with them. Any feedback would be appreciated.
If you're only using the wild tag for the scientists, make it standard and use something else.
14 two drops though? curve isnt that good and curve is the most important thing in a hunter deck
That's what I do; I drink and I know things.

Shredder and Boom aren't even scary anymore.
Also, it's not just Mad Scientist he's getting from the Wild pool, he has Bear Trap and his Zombeasts can be Wild beasts.
