    I'm an edgy theorycrafter, do I generally play weird-ass decks.

    1. Malygos Prince druid. Pretty good with another spell that can go face (ultimate infestation) and yes, I did actually make the 3-cost Prince (kinda) work. Malygos innervate prince moonfire moonfire is 22 damage, and with the draw capacity of UI it's actually plausible.

    2. Shatter Secret Mage. Turns out freeze isn't that bad with a tempo deck, and while I'm not yet sure if it's better than the standard secret mage, it's a lot of fun.

    3. Quest Mill Rogue. Maybe not quite as competitive as jade druid or pirate warrior, but it's hands down the hardest and most fun deck that I've ever played. Mill Rogue was already super hard, before adding the hardest deathknight to the list.

    Granted, I hovered around rank 10 last season, but the fun I had was well worth the lower rank.

    posted a message on Standard Mill rogue possible in current meta?

    Because the meta has been so slow lately, I figured I would give mill rogue another shot. However, rogue has no cards that expand the deck, meaning you take just as much fatigue damage as your opponents. So I decided to just mill some of the enemy's win conditions and threw in the quest for natural synergy (you're bouncing coldlights with or without the quest) and as my win condition. Has anyone else made standard mill rogue work? Or any thoughts/suggestions for the deck?

    Making direct comparisons, most of the cards are pretty similar. Both have a boardclear, except ysera's does more damage. The damage to your own board is usually overlooked, as dropping a 8-9 drop usually means you're boardclearing next turn anyways.

    Dream seems pretty comparable to the burn spell and removal of LK, just less permanent and less repercussions as well. Emerald drake is just good. Laughing sister is the only one I can't defend, cuz it's just ass.

    I feel like the taunt is useless, as leaving ysera or lich king alive for a few turns basically means insane value and insta win. More attack is compensated by less hp, and with the insane effect surviving is probably more important. And the quality of cards from ysera and lich king are comparable, if not in ysera's favor.

    What's the deal with the lich King hype? As far as I understand ysera is just better. The cards generated are generally stronger and cost less mana, while the higher health means he isn't just killed by and big minion or burn spell. Thoughts or explanations?

    Shredder and boom aren't good? And bear trap is better?

    If what you mean is that power creep has gotten to a point where previously op cards aren't op anymore, then the same reasoning would apply to why getting wild zombeasts would actually be a downside instead of an upside. So I really don't get your logic.

    The biggest problem with any freeze deck is the invalidity of the freeze mechanic itself. Because of how freeze works, you'll need to freeze something on the same turn you play your freeze synergy cards for them to go off. Which means any early game freeze synergy cards are just super hard to work with. Check kripp's video on how freeze works if you don't know what I'm talking about.

    Dude if you wanna get smashed by Dr boom, shredder, and every broken wild combo in the game then go ahead. But you're really just putting yourself at a disadvantage if you don't play the strongest cards in the available sets of the format you're playing.

    I've been testing a freeze secrets mage deck, and it works fine at rank 5ish even without the new freeze mage cards. I think freeze isn't a good enough mechanic to build a deck around, but a good side mechanic in a tempo deck.

    My deck uses a slightly lighter secrets package and 1 cryomancer, 2 frost elementals, 2 shatters (duh), 2 frostbolts, and 1 glacial shard. I thought about the demented frostcaller, then tossed it cuz the card is ass with or without synergy. 

    I know for sure that the cold wraith is gonna be super good, as my deck lacked a bit of draw. Ice walker is also pretty good, and a better freeze activator than glacial shard. I think cryomancer is decent because it's a really good turn 5 play after frost elemental, but I run only 1 cuz it's too weak without the freeze bonus.
