the way I understood it is that it would destroy spells with 1 as their ORIGINAL cost so I thought corrupt would work the same...I guess they can do whatever the hell they want tho
I was curious about this type of interaction as well... I suppose it may not be consistant with all cards.
For example, if you use Incanter's Flow and then Deck of Lunacy, would all cards transform based on the mana cost after the reduction, or their original cost?
I learned that Lorekeeper Polkelt reads discounts and stacks the deck based on the new cost, so...
By all rights, I think discounting a card should make it easier to corrupt.
It should but then again that thread talked about an AE'd Mortal Coil not being removed. So there is some weird interaction between AE setting the cost to 1 and Geist checking for the cost.
Corrupt should work off the current cost in hand, but it could also be based of the original cost.

guys if you discount Tickatus to 1 mana is it gonna get Corrupted by a 2 mana card?
I'm not sure but considering skulking geist does not destroy spells that become 1 mana after (e.g. academic espionage) I am more inclined to say no
anyway don't play tumortakus, disenchant him and play something that doesn't ruin the game
I believe that it will get corrupted. In the reveal stream they were discussing how discounted cards become easier to corrupt at one point.
Yes, it should.
And apparently Geist isn't consistent when it comes to Espionage: https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/97gtpi/skulking_geist_glitch/
