I would like to know what was your first gaming station and what was that one game you couldnt get enough of? What was your favorite thing to do in this specific game?
My first platform was an Atari on which I used to play Moon Patrol. I loved that game. But when I got my SNES and bought Secret of Mana I spent days levelling my skills ^^ Earth Slide was my favorite spell to cast but levelling the spells literally took ages :X
First owned - Atari. Cops and Robbers was a freaking great game. You chased a robber through a "mall", which was 4 tiers that you had to use stairs/elevator/escalator to move around from and had to find a way to corner him. Very challenging. Honourable mention to Joust,
First gaming system I ever played on though was Commador64, and the game I wasted way to many hours on - Spy vs. Spy. I still ROM that game from time to time, though it does need 2 people to make it truly worth while.
I never had one until I was an adult. I got a Nintendo DS when I joined the military and finally had money to buy a gaming system. I got the DS while I was in tech school to learn my job, it served me well!
I remember owning a SEGA Genesis at one point when I was really young. I used to play the Home Alone game a lot and being very bad at it, but it was still fun.
Small Back Story: My cousin and I would play this for hours and hours taking turns seeing how far we could get because we didnt have the funds to buy a memory card. I eventually got a Playstation 2 and we played spyro on that that but you couldnt save ps1 games to ps2 cards. lol I have yet to have ever saved a spyro game or to have beaten it even though im somewhere in the ballpark of over 300 hours.

Haha that's brutal :D
I hate not finishing a game but not being able to save is the ultimate test. reminds me of Dark Souls (II) speed runs :D

Nintendo Entertainment System. We played the crap out of Super Mario Brothers.
Commodore 64 with Datasette and Fort Apocalypse, later Maniac Mansion / Zak McKrakcen.

NES - The Legend of Zelda. To this day still one of my favorite games.
TRS-80 CoCo
Wildcatting, Mega-Bug and an adventure/rpg game I can't remember the name
I remember owning a SEGA Genesis at one point when I was really young. I used to play the Home Alone game a lot and being very bad at it, but it was still fun.
Double Dragon was such a great game! Just like Golden Axe on Amiga 500 or Contra (Probotector) on NES/SNES!

Golden Axe was such a quarter eater in the arcade... though not as bad as - Shadows over Mystra - the AD&D arcade game.
Had a TRS-80 and Commodore 64 but those were actually computers, not really a gaming system. Learned to program on those.
First real gaming system was Intellivision. That little disc was killer. I think Burger Time was what I was hooked on for the longest.
There are 3 kinds of people in the world. Those that can count and those that can't.
ZX Spectrum+ and Elite :)
Hah, I had a TRS-80 too - I also learned to program on it (Z80 assembler and Basic).
But I did also play games on it - mainly Scott Adam's text adventures.
My first "proper" games platform was a Sinclair Spectrum. The two games that stand out as the ones I spent most time on are Atic Atac and Manic Miner.
What is a TRS-80 ? :D

Something they made up. I was about to google it until I realized it was troll.
Seriously though, never heard of it lol.
Wow! That sh.it looks old :D
Probably still 3.000,00 USD with 16 MB :P
