Nice to know from some people's comments that an entire country is shit and it's its fault because a Brazilian page is late with the card reveal and that your day was completely destroyed because of a fucking card reveal that won't change anything at your life...
I live in Brazil.
The corruption of governament is the major of the world, ruined the economy completely.
The public security is non existent anymore, died much more police officer in RJ this year than any other.
The educational system is garbage, we lose for Indian, a country have 5 times less money and a much more dificult language problem to solve.
The country, the states and the citys are economic and moraly broken because corruption without any real justice for the criminals.
In soccer will suffer a 7x1 from German in World Cup.
And, now, the country fails even for a single fucking digital card reveal.
Well, I didn't so there's that. What I did do was justify not being total trash lords when this reveal has already gone extremely well on average.
If we were to give Blizzard a grade based on successfully revealed cards, they'd have gotten an A- (12/13 cards in two days, roughly 93% success rate).
I mean, do you only accept 100% success rates?
For the low requirement to uploading a jpg to facebook around a certain time, yes. We arent talking about anything technically intense.
I don't think "technical difficulty" had anything to do with it. i think it was a miscommunication between Blizzard and Esporte Interativo on how/when to reveal the card. You're right, it's extremely easy to upload a provided JPEG, but that gets much harder when you're dealing with translation and cultural differences.
From what I've heard from Brazilian players, Esportes Interativo is revealing the card on-air, not online. This was a communication problem between Blizzard, Esportes, and the Hearthstone fan outlets like Hearthpwn.
Is this a dumb problem? Yes. Incompetence? No, that's hyperbole for such a minor infraction in understandable circumstances. Ultimately, we're dealing with imperfect humans; not everything can work as simply as it should just because it should.
^This.
Esporte Interativo is a small tv channel that doesn't make online content. It only broadcasts. Blizzard is to blame here. They should've chosen better. Esporte Interativo has nothing to do with gaming at all.
Now, about the xenophobic comments on this thread... what a losers you all.
Can't they just have reveals come out in daily (or whenever) articles, like they do with MtG?
They try to make these big events of card reveals and try to get pro players involved and all this shit. My qestion is, who fucking cares about anything other than the cards themselves?

There was no technical difficulty, that's a common corporate cop out, I use it all the time when I make small errors that need quick fixes at work. The difference is I get them fixed within 5 mins.
You're too forgiving to those who provide services, and you will be taken advantage of many times in your life.
ok

It is called black advertising (or something like that). When you do something bad to become more famous.
At least the card was worth waiting for. Might be pretty good!
Auto squelch. That's all I'm asking for.
Well I lost that bit. I'm big enough man to admit it.
Good card tho.
Interesting fact: card was not in portuguese on the stream, differently from the card revealed from the italian streamer which was in italian.
