In my arena run today, I have gotten one Tirion, a hogger (which I chose instead of fuegan or stalagg) and now I am faced with a third legendary, Tirion, Rag or gruul. Should I go double Tirion, or stick with a single one and choose Rag?
It would be hard without knowing your deck. Can you please screenshot it? The mana curve would also help. My money is on the second Tirion, but you can never be too safe.
I just chose rag because I figured that A. Since they are both the same mana cost, it doesn't really matter, and B. I probably won't be able to use both ashbringers. Also, my deck is pretty midranged, the only problem is that I have one a couple of 5 and 6 drops and most of the early game could have been made of better cards, but hey, I got 3 legendaries in one arena deck.

Fair enough. I was just trying to consider the application of the taunt mostly. I'd say Tirion would be better if your deck was weaker to a rush deck or if your deck lacked draw (or both).
4/4 instead of 4/7? haha wouldnt pick that, but 2nd tirion for sure
Technically, Its a 6/6 which can get pretty good value since hogger is actually 4-5 best neutral legendary in arena since the game is mostly about board control, something hogger excels at. Also, I would probably only trade 2-3 for 1 with fuegan, while with hogger the potential is unlimited.
Tirion is outrageously strong in arena as silences and hexes/polys aren't a guarantee. Also I'd never really expect to see Tirion in arena, let alone 2. Your opponent won't know what hit him.
Hogger is basically a worse Sludge Belcher, in my opinion. The main body itself is a psychological taunt in that you have to remove it or it will make new 2/2 taunts. It's basically the equivalent of a 6/6 for 6. Whether it is more valuable than at vanilla 4/7 for 5 is debatable because of taunt, but I could understand why one would pick Hogger over Fuegen. I probably would have gone with the 4/7 myself though.

In certain control decks, Hogger is stronger against midrange and combo decks than Sludge Belcher, and even Cairne, simply because of the manner in which the opponent is forced to deal with him, and the effect it has on their tempo. Hogger was deemed to be terrible at a time when he truly was (in beta), and his value has never been properly re-evaluated with every new meta.
In this case he may indeed be worse than Feugen though, because arena's metagame is more similar to the one in beta. Still, the risk is worth the reward, and he's probably still the better pick.
Mage's prevalence in Arena seriously hurts the viability of Hogger; it'd strongly depend upon curve whether I took it over Feugan.
I think you were right with picking Rag over a 2nd Tyrion though; 2 Ashbringers is both awkward to utilize, and would require lots of healing to be able to extract their full value.

1) so many spells deal 4 dmg or 3dmg+hero power, especialy when top arena class is mage/druid ... thats why i wouldnt pick hogger over feugen in this case
2) i did pick hogger couple times in arena (either cause i wanted to try him out or other legends were worse) and pretty much never got big value out of him, enemy delt with him with ease and i always wished i had better 6-drop or legendary in his place

Without knowing specifically what cards are in this deck you can't be sure. I also think Hogger is being underestimated in this. Losing a hogger to a flamestrike is still a 1/1. And that's the worst case loss. A fireball leaves a 2/2 on the board. Taking someones silence leaves the creature and gets rid of a silence. Draw it away from Tirion. It's more effective against him.
If the deck is heavy on silences or taunt buffs then Rag is an amazing addition. If it has attack buffs, then a second Tirion might be better.

Uh, no.
Please reread my statement. I said 4-5 NEUTRAL legendary. Rag, Sylvanus, Cairne are all better than hogger in all scenarios. In a rush-type deck, you don't want to pick ysera or TBK making hogger better value than both of those in a rush archetype (since both of those are too slow to do anything). Hogger is a pick in all scenarios UNLESS there is a better pick which there usually isn't since only the cards mentioned above have the possibility to get more value than him. Now whether or not it was a better pick than feugan is debatable.

and 4/7 feugen will survive both flamestrike and fireball and can bait silenc or even harder removall like poly/hex (hogger most likely wont) and your 1-2 tirions or ragg will be so happy :)
i guess onlytime i would even consider pickin hogger would be if i had too many 5drops, if i didnt then feugen is even more valuable pick imo :)
I agree that a 4/7 feugen is better at baiting removal such as fireball and such, but a hogger will definetly bait out silence more often. The threat of thaddius in arena is so little that no one cares as you have to 1. draft 2 legendaries and 2. somehow manage to both draw feugan and stalagg in the same game and get them both killed. Also, on an empty board, hogger is very powerful. For instance, the board is about equal, you trade in your minons, the board is cleared. You then play hogger. Your opponent either has to silence/spell hogger during his turn, or play a couple of minons and watch as hogger gets value. Because it is two minions in one, you can get better value.

That's true. I always play belcher with the paladin secret that returns a minion to 1 health if it is destroyed. Gives me four taunts :D

I would pick u 2 Tirion if i have a chance (That never happened lol)
I would have taken Ragnaros the Firelord simply for a little diversity.

I really want Pirates to be a playable theme.
