Long time player, first time poster. I'm a pretty casual player over the last 3 years. Typically i play for half an hour while doing cardio (man time fly's by).
I usually hit around rank 14 pretty easy with only a couple games a day (bathroom or gym).
I made a Secret Paladin, and now as i write this i'm rank 6 (when i took the picture an hour ago i was rank 8).
I started at rank 15 yesterday. I consider myself a pretty bad player even though i've been playing for years, and always copy all the best decks (have every card).
It's very rare for me to win 3 in a row. I haven't kept track since last night, but i think i won 10 in a row, than lost 1. Won 7 in a row, then lost 1. won 6 in a row, lost 2.
I really just wanted to share as i think it's pretty cool.
I don't even know if i should be posting this type of stuff here as i don't typically go to the forums, but wanted to share.
Err... You're actually not sharing the deck, so what's exactly the point...? Regardless, Secret Pally is completely dishonorful to play and will always be D:
He's just feeling proud of himself, which he should be (around 15% of all HS players hit rank 6), and Secret Paladin is a deck as any other. It drew him, allied to his skill, to rank 6. if that would require no skill at all, every single player would be tossing around with Secret pally 'till 6. Lol. You don't have to undervalue the achiev OP got.
And @OP: I'm a pretty bad player myself either and got a long streak as well, from 20 to 5 since friday :D It's such a nice feeling! Congratz and get that rank 5 to obtain a golden epic!
first of all: congratulations to Rank 6, I'm at Rank 6-7 right now (I was 6 earlier today, but I lost a few games in a row).
Is your deck effective vs all those Zoolocks out there? (and maybe shamans?) And if it is --> would you mind sharing your decklist?
It feels like ~66% of the decks around rank 7 are zoolocks and it's like flipping a coin for me: sometimes I climb 5 stars, but I can easily lose them again within 2 hours with bad luck.

Here is the deck - yes im destroying Zoo and Agro shammy. Now rank 5
well... i've been playing hs for roughly 1 year now, almost never played ranked and sometimes just stopped playing at all. last season i thought "yeah i just gna try that hunter thing" and i hit rank 5 (after a shitton of grinding, though) :| while - if i may say so :P - i'm pretty skilled at games that are more action/reaction-based (LoL, DS series, Rocket league etc etc) i always felt like a pretty average player in hearthstone. So my point is that some decks are just way too easy to play and that the hs ranking system/the way you ladder suck major dick :T
also @OP: you do know that thing called "screenshot", do you oO

Congrats, similar story myself been playing very casual for a couple years best rank was 12. Recently (2 days ago) went online and had a look at tier one decks realised I could make one (always tried to come up with my own decks till now), went from rank 15 to 5 in a few hours (had a win streak of 8 games at level 8). I know it's nothing to a lot of the players on here but I was really happy lol.
So well done, and who cares what deck you used, I think ad long as you don't bm then it's just a game and should be enjoyed. I would probably say I was average would love to try to legend but don't think I have the time or skill but who knows!!
That was like me, after playing for about 8 months just using my own random creations I checked some online decks, made a zoo deck and get to rank 4 which was farking astounding to me. nowadays I can get to legend every month. If you want to improve your game you can

It's pretty rare to refer to "a horrible player" when talking about yourself ;) Usually it's other players that are horrible and OP is just unlucky ;)
Congrats on a great run.
Si vis pacem, para bellum.
Corvus oculum corvi non eruit.
Some days i lose 7 in a row and get matched with golden hero players.

Its Standard Secret Pali
thanks for sharing - I don't have Ragnaros though. I just switched to a C'thun Druid (with Doomcaller instead of Ragnaros).
Ragnaros (classic and Lightlord) are quite high on my crafting list; I think I switch back to Paladin as soon as I got one of them.
