As a poker player myself I'm actually really looking forward to this! His opponent is also an incredibly accomplished poker player as well, but Negranu is my favorite poker pro. His ability to call his opponents hand is the best I've ever seen, it borders on telepathy. I'd love to see if he can bring his ability to read hands to hearthstone.
It should be interesting. Most professional poker players (yep, even the winning ones) are complete degens at heart tho, so I'm guessing it will be mostly gamb00l.
I remember back in the days where I actually watched poker seeing him fold pocket kings (I think it was kings, some face card though) pre-flop because he was convinced his opponent had aces. He was right. That is a move I would never make in a thousand hands when given pocket face cards.
I doubt we're going to see super high-level plays or anything but it should still be fun. I doubt he knows the meta or popular decks inside out or even what all of the cards in most popular decks do. It should still be fun though! He's certainly a very talented guy and could probably be a Hearthstone pro if he cared enough to or if the money was anywhere close to as good as in poker.
So I was googling Negreanu playing HS and I stumbled on this article. http://www.pokerlistings.com/blog/poker-legend-daniel-negreanu-addicted-to-hearthstone Turns out he's addicted to HS! His opponent is a remarkable poker player and he was actually a champion Starcraft 2 player so he has esports experience. I think this will turn out to be a really fun match to watch. I can't believe I'm looking forward to this this much.

Prediction: He realizes this game is 99% luck and goes back to poker, where you can win more money for flipping coins with your rainman powers.
