I have a question for players who consistently make it to the higher ranks of hearthstone: Does the Meta change drastically when you go from ranks 15-10 to 10-5? And 5 to legend? Or is it the same decks just played at a higher skill level?
Currently my highest is rank 10 and i have noticed very little change other than skill level. But i always hear from other players saying that the meta does change drastically.
The meta changes the most rank 5 down you will see different things more often sometimes day to day but if not then usually every week popular decks resurface or are strong for a little bit again.
At rank 5-1 what you see this season is mostly secret paladin and sometimes tempo mage/hunter/druid. At legend you can see players playing more fun and slower decks but usually its those decks
This is pretty accurate.

Thats about the same as what im running into right now so not to big a difference. And what you say about legend makes alot of sense seeing as they can be alot more free in their deck choices at that point.
I didn't start paying attention until I hit rank 6 this month. From rank 6-3 I saw about 30% Paladins, with the rest being pretty evenly split between variations of Mage, Druid, and Warrior with a smattering of Priest. Rank 2-Legend I didn't actually see any Secret Paladins. It was almost entirely Druids and Mages with Priests making a resurgence. I've been in Legend for about a week, hovering around rank 200 and seeing pretty much everything besides Rogues.
Tempostorm is your best resource in seeing what the 5 through legend plays. Their Tier list pretty much nails it.
But overall it's a lot of fast decks until 10 where you can notice a difference and from 5 it's whatever deck is tier 1 or 2.
First time hearing of that site. It seems I tier 4'd my way to legend from 25 in like under 30 hours, haha. Then again I guess bottom of legend isn't very good in HearthStone anyways.
I think like 95% of the decks I faced between ranks 15-legend were a tier 1-2 deck on that list. Rank 3 and better felt like pretty much secret paladins and control warriors, though didn't play that many games there, so maybe it was just the time I played.

The decks being played on higher ranks are faster with lower overall win rate while on lower ranks win rate is preferred over game speed (post5)
Because that's how the ladderworks.. Also people on lower ranks got more cards and decks, and adapt to meta changes.
If you see 5 face hunters in a row youwon't play handlock..'
Makes sense.

Nothing doing, traveler.
