as of right now naxx cards are pretty essential to be competitive in a lot of decks, however things may change once TGT is out you may be better off waiting to see how the meta forms. As for chances i'm not sure I mean you could always open packs and get like 5 legendaries you need or nothing good at all.... if you wanted to play it safe you could get a wing or two of nax or howver many you need to get your mad scientist then spend the rest in packs of your choice.
The first 4 wings of Naxx are basically required if you ever want to play competitive decks. Get those before anything else. You're also getting Zombie Chow and Death's Bite which are irreplaceable and solid options in Deathlord and Dark Cultist.
You are better off just spending real money to buy BRM and Naxx. At a minimum you're going to get 40 dusk per pack. With the gold you have that's 20 packs. On average you're missing out on 800 dusk or more. Plus the chance to get the cards you need to build you're collection. Spend the gold on TGT packs. You won't get a much dust but you will getting a lot of new cards.
Naxx had a ridiculous amount of must have cards. from Mad Scientist, to class cards (Death's Bite, Voidcaller), good legendary Loatheb, Sludge Belcher, Unstable Ghoul a lot of cards that you absolutely 100% need in certain decks. i dont even know how you can play the game without naxx, the amount of good cards that came with naxx was ridiculous. a lot of decks dont even run BRM cards, but they all have naxx cards in them.
BRM didn't really have any staple cards that are must have. current meta the only ones that are even used are Quick Shot, Grim Patron (need death's bite from naxx first though ;) and this is only viable for one deck), and Emperor Thaurissan (luckily you can get him with the first wing)
no problem i know it sucks to have bad luck with packs, but i agree with everyone else the best option would be to shell out the money for the adventures then buy packs/arena runs with your saved gold, but if you cannot do that for some reason i would consider doing what i said and buying a combination of the two the last wing in naxx isnt as important as the ones before it
Flamewaker is great but it's only a tempo mage card. I don't know how valuable TGT packs will be but you surely want the classic legendaries. If I would make a priority list it would be like Naxx and Classic packs > TGT and GvG > BRM. BRM only the first wing is ok. On GvG you want some rares and commons that you can craft and basically only Boom and Malghanis come to my mind. My guess is that TGT will be a little less valuable than GvG but you never know. Naxx people already said that is full of op cards.

Hi everyone, I am a F2P player. Its been a while playing Hearthstone but I dont have any Legendaries Except Loatheb and Emperor.
Currently have 2 wings of Naxx and 1 wing of Blackrock Mountain.
I have saved 2000+ gold for TGT but am not sure whether to go for adventures (I want Mad Scientist for my tempo Mage) or go for TGT packs.
What are the Higher chances to get better cards from the packs or should I just buy the adventures with gold?
Your response will be much appreciated , Thank You.

Thanks for your reply, Flamewaker from BRM is another great card I need but sadly its too later in the adventure.
Ive been really unlucky opening packs so far, I have opened nearly more than 50 packs yet but not a single legendary.
But spending that much gold for just 2 cards ( Mad Scientist , Flamewaker) seems so expensive.
Naxxramas is the best value for money purchase you can make. It has so many important cards for so many decks it's difficult to imagine passing it up.
Nope.

Thank you Everyone, I am considering to wait until TGT cards are available.
Will go for 2 wings of Naxx and will buy TGT packs with rest of the gold.
but What about Flamewaker ?
Definitely TGT, too much value. Almost 65% of the cards are must-haves.

You are joking right? There's no way anybody is THAT stupid.
