Hello guys, I am a successful Arena playing F2P Player. I have something like 25 Legendary cards as is from above average pack luck.
Getting to (for a F2P Player anyway) More advanced Legendary crafting. I have all the non-legendary cards i want in the game
Here is a list of Legendary cards i am Interested in and a bit about my style/why they would help me. i was hoping some more knowledgeable helpful folk here on the forums could help make up my mind.
So first off. My favorite tech card is Harrison. I always like to have him even in a non weapon meta as i can accept a 5/4 for 5 and he often gives me huge match swings especially against rogues (my worst hearthstone matchup) So Although i dont have TBK it wouldnt be so often i ran it unless vs heavy Druid metas. Which is why this isn't an obvious TBK
Cards needed: TBK obviously a good tech card, the obvious choice, Tirion (play a lot of Pally and he's a top legendary), Archmage A (Need that finisher when playing Mage Aggro although i don't often use it/ to get back into using a viable Freeze mage for the fun. Also my Girlfriend loves mage aggro and it's her dream card so it would be nice for her to be able to see it/use it on my account, would make her day.) Cenarius (I like Druid, don't play it a huge amount as the games seem to last too long on average but A Friend has Cenarius and i get to see how powerful the card is quite often and Like the fact it has utility Value, King Mukla (Another unlikley bet but i've been having some fun using Fatigue Rogue lately, a pleasent change from the brain numbing Oil planning and i often feel i'm missing a bit of Mill power. Geddon... I used to play Warrior Control a lot but havent as much recently... I don't feel i miss him from my warrior control deck as he's literally the only card missing but i still do need him to complete that deck and for all i know he could make a huge difference Last but not Least Vol'Jin... I'm mentally very good at using Priest and do enjoy making insane combos turn after turn despite the fact that after 5 matches your brain is fried. Vol'jin is a monster legendary that has potential to destroy opponents in control match ups. Again not one i feel i need yet but if anyone has the power of persuasion?
The main 3 im looking at are Tirion, Archmage and TBK honestly if it were me i'd go Tirion. But then i think i'd get more value from Archmage for multiple deck use but then even more from TBK although often it wont be in any of my decks which is the worry. Sorry to have written so much Text, Looking forward, hopefully, to some great advice from the ever knowladgeable community... Last time i asked for help it was between rag and Boom less than a day after GvG... One guy was extremely helpful there as he already spotted the potential of Boom Hoping for more clever insight. Thank you for your time!
Chris.

Tip: Ask your girlfriend to open your packs... 3 Golden Legendary cards including sylvanas and a normal thalnos in her first 4 packs... And she averages a legend in every 15 packs (almost twice as good as average)
TBK is not strictly necessary right now, Tirion is top tier, Archmage is top tier, Cenarius is quite good but substitutable, Mukla is for the lolz (I don't think he'll ever be viable as an aggro card card for his stats again), Geddon is non-essential in warrior, Voljin is very good in some priest decks.

I had my own thread with poll on this a while back, here's the results:
I'll just give you a quick note on Vol'jin Since i unlocked the card, my priest deck increased in power exponentially. Having him in your deck means you don't have to use a Shadow Word: Death to kill a Dr. Boom or Ragnaros The Fire Lord You ideally want to use him to cause a tempo swing and leave yourself with a tank minion to clean up the board. Here's a link to the current iteration of my priest deck if you want to take a look. :) May your weather be sunny and your cards not wet!

Voljin placed pretty high, but Golden Millhouse Manastorm seems like the closet sleeper.
I remember this thread! I actually Voted Vol'jin and Jaraxxus because i think crafting legendary cards is generally pointless and anti-value.
I even thought about that thread last night when originally thinking about this decision but decided as you were mainly contemplating the difference between golden and non-golden cards it was of little help to me as i'm nowhere near there yet.
As i said, Mukla was more for the milling deck. With Gang up i've seen Mill Rogue to be quite viable even on ladder with anti aggro tech cards. Was never considering him for Aggro. Maybe if the bananas were a deathrattle he'd work.
Hm it's definitely between Tirion and Archmage. You're right about cenarius which is why i wasnt in a rush to get him.
Thank you a lot for the advice. Definitely won't be golden Millhouse xD i have normal anyway. Which as a F2P player is lucky. And he doesnt see much play as it is. As you say ''Closet sleeper'' :)
See I think Vol'jin is there with Tirion as the most powerful, Both weak to silence though. If i played more priest it'd be a Vol'jin no brainer but my issue is that although i feel competant with the complications of control priest and have played high legend well with it especially in aggro metas. I just tend to play Paladin a lot more which makes Tirion a more obvious choice and something i've needed to complete the pally for a while. Although sneeds has filled in well for him he's just a nightmare to be stolen by priests.
But then there is Mage. I enjoy Mech mage... It takes little thought and i can play it when laddering in a layed back way without resorting to cancerous hunter decks. The issue is i always feel it is missing a win condition and that is the archmage, the same with freeze mage although i hardly play it.
I tend to ladder with more aggressive decks each season then once safe in legend ranks i play something more mid-range (meta-dependent) which is often Paladin, Hunter or Shaman. Although i do love my oil rogue. And the odd Priest So the archmage would be for quicker less cancerous laddering and to please Enya (my Girlfriend) the tirion would be to try achieve higher legend.

What an interesting deck that it! Like the look of it, will be trying it out, thank you for the input. You make a great Point on Vol'Jin. If i find a way to get less headaches playing priest for long periods of time he will definitely be next on my list! Especially as i'm now back to opening Classic packs.

Honestly Tirion is the obvious go-to legendary for Paladins, and like you said there will always be a fear against silence and mind control, but the 6/6 divine shield with taunt will block the board and the weapon will help you push a lot of damage. Downside of Tirion (and I could imagine this being an issue in high ranks) is that it will be expected in every paladin deck that can afford to go into the late game. I don't have archmage but from what I've you will sometimes hold a whole of cheap spells(parts mostly) and wait for antonidas out of your 15 cards left. And lastly Vol'Jin is an amazing Tempo swing against mid-range and control decks, but it can fall flat on its face against aggro matches.
Edit: Tirion is good by himself Archmage requires cards (ammo if you may) Vol'jin requires your opponent to play a 4+ health minion
If you look closely, you can see this is a signature and not a comment. Why are you reading? Stop reading this. Did you read this too? Dang you must like reading.
If you play a lot of paladin, go tirion, he is irreplaceable and combos well with lots of different deck styles. Otherwise, craft Archmage.
You're asking for a comparison between two top tier legendaries, who have very unique effects, neither is inherently better than the other. It will depend on what you enjoy playing.

Id go for TBK, even if he is not useful right now he will be at a iven time fer sure. Tirion and Antoinidas, although very great cards they are limited to a specific class. If you are "done " with a class, for exampleb with hitting 500 ranked wins, and want to focus on another one they become useless for a longer time.
Both of the cards are worth yielding the title of game-changer, in my opinion. It ultimately depends on personal preference and which class of the two that you play the most. Normally I would craft Tirion, but Antonidas have the edge here due to the fact that it's your Girlfriend's dream card.
I just wanted to add in my opinion. Taking all personal or preferences out of the equation the best answer is going to be tirion because mages do not NEED antonidas as much as he is just fun and a very plausible finisher. Replacing him with boom or even going more aggro oriented and trying to win by turn 7 are also very viable options for mech mage and for freeze mage having a pyroblast in its place is about equal value as its 3-5 damage less on turn 10 (12 from fireball and hero power/frost bolt) but it requires 1 turn prior to set up that pyro doesnt.
Now if you are going to bring emotions and fun into it and lets be honest its a game so you should.... antonidas tends to bring forth many more fun moments at least for me and having a happy girlfriend is always a positive thing. So I suppose at the end of the day its a matter of it you are going to get more enjoyment from winning more games or more enjoyment from how those games are won =)
