I recently made a new account and when I face those Blizzard bots I often switch because it's just a little boring and whatnot. (Those bots are only in Standard.) And honestly? Yeah, it feels like almost no difference whatsoever. Sometimes you might face something even crazier than what is currently in Standard but often it's pretty much the same. You might die early because they are playing a "face" deck where even if you don't die they just run out of cards and lose so it's also really boring often or they get around and play their OP "win condition" and you just know you probably don't really have a chance anymore or of course you lose eventually in one turn to some disgusting combo you can't do anything about anymore. To be fair I only enjoy and play silly RNG/Discover decks that don't abuse some OP shit because I just want to have some fun making random stuff work. Seriously, I have the Mage Titan in my deck but one time where I got it to do some good work it felt way too OP. Or even Ignis sometimes, like Windfury and summon a random 8-cost minion after attacking on the weapon? But yeah, sometimes it really feels like you "need" those to even stand a chance... I don't even know anymore. Hearthstone is not the same game anymore. I wish there would be better social options to better find and play with people. That way I could find other people that also don't play such crazy high power level decks and have more fun. Currently I'm very surprised myself but I often just go to Battlegrounds and except for the insane end game where "everything feels like Jade Druid" it's often quite a lot of fun.
It's not damn bots. Completely insane non-sense conclusion.
The problem is basically powercreep. Years ago, Wild had a pretty concrete meta. When a new set came out, maybe a few of the concrete decks got a new card or 2, but nothing really changed. It seems like nowadays when a new set is released, the wild meta completely changes. Let's not forget how aggressive things are. Blizz started printing A LOT of reload in the last few years for aggro decks. Radar detector is usually a draw 5 that can be tutored for paladin. There's also all the pirate support that rogue got. Sunken City really went overboard when it came to adding draw for aggro.
Imo it‘s the opposite. In wild there where every expansion at least 2 or 3 new decks. Of course there where also some old decks and decks wich had a comeback after a while. The last 2 or 3 years it begann to stall with decks like evenshaman, secretmage, questmage, piraterogue,… There was little to no change at wild meta last few month. The questlines brought the last biggest change to wild imo. And before that it was Genn/Baku.
Yes, there is a big difference: Wild has more cards than Standard. Regarding gameplay experience: no, there's no difference. And no, I don't think it's a problem because Standard is a subset of Wild, so all Standard cards are also Wild cards. Therefore it's ok for Standard to be as chaotic as Wild.
Sludge kills you on turn 6, Rogue play 50 cards before turn 6, druid reloads over and over. Pathetic meta. Can the mini-set change anything?
Tell us what deck are you playing yourself.
Point is that power level of decks is so high its silly
true lol
when I came back to Hearthstone in 2022 I was shocked when I've seen Colossals for the first time. Totally different game.

The difference is the number of bots on low rank. Standard so many bots XD

Is it? I thought Wild was the anything goes format which Standard has become due to powercreep.
Give Blizzard all your money and become one of us :D
