They unbanned the demon seed so I don't really think Drek'thar would be that much of a problem for the wild format. This is such a useless and frankly stupid design in its current form, why would you ever play a 4 mana minion with heavy deck restrictions, only to recruit one random minion from your deck, makes absolutely no sense. I know it can be abused, but so can many cards in the wild format.
Or is it not rotating this year ?
Also I hope they unnerf Renathal next year, best card they ever printed, such a shame it had to be nerfed to keep aggro decks in the loop.
They might need to nerf demon seed further to 12/12/12. Lots of players testing it out now. They also need to nerf mine rogue and big priest. I really hope Rena gets reverted to 40hp next year, so many love him. 40hp didn't kill aggro but it will help slow the meta.
You obviously didn’t play back then. It was a broken strategy. When dreck thar was released, there weren’t any wild decks not playing it. Besides slow control - and that was horribly bad.

Aside from this being a incorrect, it's not like the power level of the deck was high to the point of deserving a nerf. It def wasn't on the same level as big rogue, one of the latest decks to be changed in wild and honestly one of the weakest of the list. And it has also been 2 years since the deck was playable, who knows if it's still any good? It's the same case as the Raza nerf revert, after so much time he just wasn't as strong as it used to be, so I don't see a problem in unnerfing it just to see how it performs.

Nope. Needs to stay nerfed. I know overload shaman was doing bs with it pulling spirit of the frog back before they nerfed it.
Inconsistent strategy, barely relevant.

I agree that it is bad now, but it was incredibly oppressive when it was good.

I have golden Gelbin Mekkatorque and nearly all seasonal card backs.
And yes it was too strong, that's why it got nerfed. It was too strong. Is it still too strong ? I think it's worth testing.
