When you buy all the expansions with real money, you don't need to spend any gold
Not true at all, assuming you want a full collection. Even if you buy both bundles, you won't have nearly enough dust to craft all the legendaries you are missing.

I think this seems a touch pedantic. I don't get the impression they are talking about having the full collection, I imagine this is something that a minority are bothered about. What I take from this post is that if you buy the bundles then you can realistically craft enough that you don't need gold. They are correct, I've done this for years now and I only buy one bundle.
With the reward track though, I do now save the gold from day 2 of an expansion, buy the mini set with gold but that's it. Last expansion I had something like 9000 gold and with the smaller bundle, I pretty much had access to anything I wanted, even though I was missing some legendaries. I crafted a couple and job done. I've been able to make any deck from any expansion for ages, whilst this game is fairly pricey in the grand scheme of things, it's exaggerated by the community.
i have 106,000 gold and 301,000 dust i'm have pretty much every deck farming arena and i play arena over and over and over and over and over and over again when a new expansion comes out i refuse to buy new packs and play arena over and over and over and over and over again 300+ packs later i have the entire set then i go into hibernation for the next expansion that's what i always do LUL

Why would he buy expansions if he only plays arena? No need to be salty about the resources of top 250 arena player. Its not like they get anything out of them anyway - the packs are useless to to them. Also, the mode is great. I haven't been playing it now for a couple of years, but I have never forgotten that it is still arguably the fairest and most skill intensive mode in the game, as proven by the best players who accumulate unilimited dust and gold, and considerably higher than a 65% winrate or whatever the best constructed players can boast.
