In my experience playing Casual mode to try some wanky/off meta deck is pretty much the same as playing Ranked.
I would say that 8 out of 10 games are against Tier 1 and Tier 2 Meta Decks.
Now my question to you guys is :
Is your Casual experience similar to mine?
Is there an invisible MMR rating in Casual that affects how good of players you get?
What can be changed to make Casual Mode actually feel Casual?
My suggestion would be to make Casual Mode completely random in terms of matching with other players, sometimes you would get some try hard who plays meta deck and sometimes some guy who plays Casual with off meta deck, hell sometimes you might get some total noob.
I would love to get your opinion on this.
PS. I sometimes try to play Casual Mode bcs im bored of facing them same few decks over and over.
People wants to win. You win more with tier 1 or 2 decks.
People wants to get better playing certain decks without losing ranks.
So what can be done. Nothing really. The majority will always use better decks, so you will face good decks the majority of the time. That is how it is, and unless Blizzard comes up with at - You use these 10 cards so you are using a meme deck solution - you will always face the best decks the majority of the time.
if you play a lot of homebrew/unoptimal decks, your mmr will drop and you will start facing more players on your level, aka more likely to face other memers.
I know Blizz have detailed stats. I would be cool if the rated every card with a power level based off a cards usage rate and win percentage etc. Then They could match you in casual based off the total score of your deck.

Casual is ranked without the fear of losing ranks.
The main two reasons are
People wants to win. You win more with tier 1 or 2 decks.

Silver Hand Recruit
My experience in Wild Casual is that people are not playing Tier 1 or 2 decks.
However, they are consistently AFK. Either they do nothing from the beginning of the game, or just rope every turn.
Probably sitting there playing on their phone while watching The Big Bang Theory or something. Plebs.

Cool idea !
It's called doing Play 3 games of X,Y,Z quests.
I usually play meta decks until Diamond 5, then I play casual inside the ranked...
And if I start to get bored by facing the same types of decks, I just move from standard to wild or wild to standard.
I don't play casual mode because I'm trying to get my 1000 wins with all classes, winning on casual I won't receive that victory score.
