Effect is on next turn, not next spell. Neophytes were played on different turns too, so with the reduction from nature studies, this all works as intended

Ahhh. For some reason I thought the mana increase was a permanent effect (like an aura). Not a battlecry + next turn.
Please explain turn 3 from the druid.

He plays Nature Studies turn one, you play Cult Neophyte turn 3 = Bogbeam costs 3 on his turn 3
It should cost 4
Base 3
Nature Studies (-1)
Neophyte +1 (x2)
Maybe Cult Neophyte is not stacking correctly.
Nothing abnormal here. 1 Study and one Neophyte cancel each other out. 3-1+1=3.
I see 2 Neophytes. The DH played them on turn 2 and 3. So at the end the Bogbeam should cost 4

Ok, makes sense.
That would probably make Cult Neophyte one of the most OP cards in HS history, no? :P
