I hope they put in game chat so we can all enjoy and flame our opponents that topdeck lethal, make awful play or just iritate us cause of the decklist they are playing. I know for sure I would enjoy it and play HS even more, just to detox myself so I can be good IRL.
There is also the fact that to remain available to Under-13 players, there is a legal requirement that free-chat is not available (otherwise they have to start implementing age-restriction policies and other legalese stuff).
Thats why they use the remote system and have an invite-based friend system for regular chat. Its the same reason we put the auto-chat function into Runescape years back, in order to get around the legal stuff.

Well, I really doubt there are many kids playing this children's card game. XD I'm pretty sure most players are teenagers and adults.

That will probably stand up in court. Tell the Devs to proceed since we have Shermans statement to rely on.

There's probably not many, but there are definitely some*. Unfortunately, as long as there are any at all, Blizzard are forced to play by the rules (if they dont want big fines and other problems). :-P
*more than 7... probably... there's at least 2 in my house, anyway... :-)

Obvious troll is obvious. In game chat is available to friends as someone else noted. If you really want that, get that opponent to accept a friend request and chat away.
And I am a fragile eggshell. I play games where everyone wins and gets a participation prize.

Yeah, you're right, and there is nothing more important than the law to be honest. But damn, I just wanted to have much more fun than usual while playing this game... :P

No.
"A bargain forged in blood and shadow"
They already have this in the Friends Request.
I think it would slow the game down more and I really don't want to be trolled any more than I am now in game.
I really hope they never do that.
no
It would be awesome to be honest, but it's never going to happen, too many over sensitive people in the world. -.-
