This thread is an exercise in futility. It was started in May. Here we are two months later discussing something that clearly isn't going to happen anytime soon. And with a new x-pac coming, with a completely unknown Meta incoming, discussions about nerfing CC are clearly pointless.
There are other decks in standard that use the Giant, such as Plot Twist Warlock. (as you say, which is actually very strong regardless of whether you happen to think so - it currently has over 56.4% win rate on HSReplay) And I'd be very surprised if there aren't more decks in the new meta that will use it too.
Sure, there are other decks that use it (currently one) but doesn't it always grow anger within people to get knocked out by turn 4 when the ginat hits the board? I'm fine with it as a mage AND warrior player, but there should also be more ways to kill warriors too other than hoping for them to not have any boardclear.
Those numbers are probably boosted by kibler, because i do not think in a meta with a lot of aggro decks plot twist warlock will survive long enough. ^^
Well, the discussion about the emotions driven by this card (and others) is another topic I think - because everyone will experience different feelings about it, and being something of a more subjective nature, it's hard to provide a really objective view that isn't tarnished by anecdotal evidence. I completely agree that for some people, seeing this card can make them feel very frustrated and/or upset with the game, etc.

I think one problem might be that there is no clear way of nerfing/changing it without making people upset. You can tell by the people suggesting a lot here 8including me). But i won't say anything i said is correct or the only solution to come up with. Maybe we will see a clue how to stop it in the new expansion (besides the Murloc Plague).

I completely agree. Hopefully there will be a satisfactory solution to change/nerf this card (and/or cards around it) by the design team.
