I couldn’t help but hear the line “masters of plotting and scheming” in the teaser and think how much “Scheme” sounded like a real candidate for a new keyword. Possibly deck manipulation of some sort like the cards from the time event recently.
What do you think? What could Scheme be as a keyword.
This mechanic was used in Duelyst : your or the opponent play a 3/3 that turns into something else once you or the opponent do a specific action ( attack with the hero, use hero power, cast a spell, attack with a creature, etc. ). That sounds a lot like "Schemes".

That sounds similar to morph from MTG (you play a minion face-down and can turn it face up and usually do an additional effect). I do wonder if something like that would work in HS, considering that we already have secrets.
The fortuneteller also uses the word Scry at one point... Maybe the new keyword (let's call it "Scheme" for now) is something similar to the Scry mechanic? Like, you look at your top card and can leave it on the top of your deck, or put it on the bottom, thus "scheming" by having some knowledge of a future card drawn?
I could see other minions having "reveal the top card of your deck: if X then Y" or an overstatted minion with "remove the top card of your deck." Basically minions and cards that revolve around the top card of your deck, thus synergizing with the "Scheme" mechanic

I think this makes a lot of sense myself. I can't see them straight up stealing Scry from MTG, but maybe if they tweak and rename it.

Like a battlecry for the turn after, as if youre schemeing for the next turn
That's Incredible!
