I know rank 5 is the best reward in term of time and value wise. But since I don't have the time to grind up there I can only get the reward of rank 10 the most.
Thing is the reward between rank 15 and rank 10 is only 1 golden common more, is that worth it to grind up there?
The only purpose to grind at all is only the reward. If you're happy even at rank 20, the choice is yours. As a wild legend player, I can suggest to climb if you would be interested to play against better players, who make less mistakes and play more serious decks.
It depends on the way you collect cards and the size of your collection. For me personally, the rank 11 reward is better than the rank 10 rewards, as I don't dust my golden cards. This means that when I get a golden common I don't have 2 off yet, I disenchant the regular copy and end up with 5 dust. However, on rank 11 you would get 20 dust guaranteed.
In general I would say that you grind as far as you can, if you enjoy it of course. Every rank you gain is another 5 dust added to your reward, and you start another rank higher up in the next season

Don't forget you can't lose stars at rank 10. I climbed to rank 5 for the first time this month. I like the fact I play against higher lvl-players.

I grind for reward and I feel reward rank 15 is good, much better than rank 20 because of the Golden Rare, so I'm quite happy at rank 15. I don't think I'm interested in playing against better players, that is not rewarding enough yet for me.
Grinding is definitely not fun, I don't like the feeling of gaining then losing, the feeling of after 1 hour of playing for example you back to where you were 1 hour earlier is bad.
If you haven't reached rank 10 and you're still learning and improving, then it might be worth it.
If rank 10 is a stepping stone and you're planning to get to rank 5 at some point in the future, it's most likely worth it.
If you're doing it only for the reward, it's probably not worth it.
I reached rank 10 like 1 year ago with zoolock. I definitely can reach rank 10 every season, I only wonder about the time investment for grind. I do like to reach 5 one day but looking at the amount of time ppl telling me to reach rank 5 scare me, and if I can only play like 4 games a day, will I ever be able to get there in time.
Is there any reason for anything? No. Just do what you want and you’ll be happy.
Well, I don't know if I will be happy, may be there is a hidden reason that might make me happy achieving rank 10, that's why I'm asking for my peers here.

Nice, first time I hear about this way of collecting cards that make you think r11 is better than r10. I collect golden cards regardless and it is quite rare to have 3 golden copies of the same one so I'm cool with reaching r10 in that regard.
I'm not enjoying grinding, 5 dust for one rank I think is so little for the time investing.
I do rank 5 (for the reward and the stepping stone) then play meme and fun decks. I usually get rank 5 in the first few days maybe a week of the season then just sit around rank 5 to 3 depending on my win rate and how silly I make my decks :)
Unless you spend a fair amount of money or play a lot of arena I think it's worth getting the best reward you can each month. The dust plus golden cards is worth it imo especially as rank 5 is pretty easy to obtain.
Obviously if you don't enjoy that then don't bother I suppose. I enjoy the feeling of rank 5. I feel happy I'm getting the rewards and I can relax more but I like competing for rank 5 even if it's sometimes a straight climb.
Well, next season you don't need to get to 15 if you get to 10. So maybe as a time investment to save you time next season.
Well, not quite, the time to grind from r15 to r10 now will be longer than the time grinding from r19 to r15 next season for sure, so I rather start from r19 next season if my goal is always r15.
For me personally it's not much harder to get to rank 5 than to rank 10. On the other hand the reward for rank 5 is relative to the other ones the highest.
So I reach rank 5 every time and enjoy the 500 dust or the free golden epic I lacked. So why reach beyond rank 10?
Because it is the way to go to rank 5 which is giving you the highest reward in the game regarding dust value.
Not worth it. Rank 5 is what you should aim for because there is a big bump in rewards. Try to get to 5 every season. Ignore 10, just think of it as extra safety net you cannot fall bellow once you get there. Try to grind to 5.
And obviously, grinding to lower rank helps you in next season as you get reset to a rank which is not that bad, so from that point of view it makes sense to try to grind every month so you have better starting position next month.

Play only for fun.
Only grind if you think its fun.

yeah I know r10 can't lose stars, I only concern about the time it takes to get to r10 and whether the golden common reward extra worth it.
is playing higher lvl players really worth it? I mean do you learn a lot? is the learning offset the losing tilt from losing to them?
