Again, technically speaking, thinking about the game is also cheating according to the EULA, as it is a method that may provide you an advantage over another player. Now anyone with a sane mind can see that it would be ridiculous to not allow thinking. The gray area, which I do think exists, is caused by this extremely wide definition of cheating in the EULA versus the rationale of players and spectators alike. Does that mean that either of them are wrong? No, not really. Blizzard has to define cheating as broadly as possible, so they can act upon any form of cheating without being confronted by their own EULA. On the other side, there are things that we don't consider cheating but the EULA does. As long as Blizzard doesn't act upon those, what's the problem? I feel like a lot of people agree that talking about the game is not considered cheating, and Blizzard tolerates this.
My own opinion on this is that I can imagine it could feel wrong or unfair that people are playing as a team, but there is no realistic way in which this could be prevented and I believe the advantage of playing together is too minor. And you know, you probably have beaten people working together as well, doesn't that balance out in the end?
Technically speaking, this is prohibited under rule 1.C.ii.1 of the Blizzard end user license agreement (cheats; i.e. methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard, influencing and/or facilitating the gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods;)
I can't say for sure if Blizzard has expressly authorized people to cooperate on ladder, but I think it's safe to say that this is tolerated by Blizzard
It depends on the way you collect cards and the size of your collection. For me personally, the rank 11 reward is better than the rank 10 rewards, as I don't dust my golden cards. This means that when I get a golden common I don't have 2 off yet, I disenchant the regular copy and end up with 5 dust. However, on rank 11 you would get 20 dust guaranteed.
In general I would say that you grind as far as you can, if you enjoy it of course. Every rank you gain is another 5 dust added to your reward, and you start another rank higher up in the next season
Apparantly I had a nickname change token already, so I used that to change my nickname back. Would like to see my posts restored too, if that's possbile, please.
It's a shame to see what this change has caused in inconvenience for you guys. Really appreciate your efforts in keeping this site and community running :D
