I find it very frustrating how the level of salt has meant people don't accept friend requests. A lot of the time, especially in wild, I want to ask someone about their deck when I lose to them because you might not have gotten to see all of it or how they do in certain matchups (i.e., cool priest deck, have you been doing well against token druids? are you running lyra? etc.) but most of the time people just assume you want to bm and don't accept. It's very lame.
Cause it's a children's card game played by children. Just look at this forum. People get mad about you playing any deck in the game, they get mad if you do any emotes, they get mad if you spend your turn thinking, they get mad if you get lucky, if you topdeck, and they get really mad if you take their blankey.
Guess that explains why you are here.
Honestly op, people are people and everyone has different reasons for getting angry. It's just the way people act when they are competitive. Personally, I just turn off the game and blame the designers for shit that pisses me of. Like who at Blizzard thought rotating Ice Lance and keeping Ice Block was a good idea? Pirate warrior? Just fire the guy behind that, no one will miss him
You're free to link any post of mine being salty about any of those things. I can save you the time, you won't find any.
Meanwhile you're complaining about ice block. You're saying im the hypocrite when you're openly complaining about deck types?
This challenge has been accepted by me. I have read all of your posts and I conclude you have never made a salt-post about an aspect of the game.
I do, however, also conclude 80% of your posts tell people they are wrong in something, that they are whining, and that they are exaggerating. You're not swearing, but it looks near toxic overall; salt in its on way.
Final conclusion: Not salty about the game itself, but very salty about the community of Hearthstone

Most posts here are whining, being wrong, and exaggerating. I work with what I'm given.
If people here have no oppositions to their opinions they start accepting them as fact. A lot of times people post here complaining about something when they don't even know anything about it. We get nerf threads multiple times a day. 90% of bug reports on this forum are people not knowing how cards work.
You know what's more toxic? Look at what happens when people ask for help with playing a meta deck. They instantly get shit on by people saying the deck is braindead and complaining about netdecking. The community here is terrible because it's where people go to vent, not thinking what an actual community is about.
When almost every thread is a complaint thread, I think I'm vindicated in arguing against them.
My response was to someone calling me out for behavior I didn't commit. It's the behavior of the community, and it could use a change. It is completely related to what the OP is talking about.
The issue is with blizzard, they make to many cards that pushes for 1 type of play, very simple minded deck building and on top of that they use the rarity not only to make a lot of cash but also to push new people towards certain decks, like fx jade decks... they are super cheap super easy super effektiv and the deck is super boring and straight forward aswell.. still it is a highly pushed deck by blizzard...
Blizzard is a Company, they HAVE TO make money, so nothing wrong. The issue is with HS community: you talk about one type of play, data shows that on the ladder there are at least 10 decks of the top 2 tier. can you remember the days of the Handlock or Secret pala? That was boring. is full of fresh decks out there! about rarity: the current midrange hunter don't play any legendary and is super strong, Elemental mage is also viable and cheap. nobody force you to play Miracle rogue, Control mage or Murloc Paladin, is not blizzard tht push the jade Druid, is the meta! People just need to complain. there are people complaining about the murloc paldin, people complaining about the exodia mage, about the pirate warrior, about how much you can draw with Miracle rogue and (for obviously reason) about Quest Rogue. I'm complaing about the community, i think is a bit too much salty. At the time of GvG people were whining only about face hunter and zoolock. This is the evidence Blizzard offer a better and diverse game experience but the truth is that we are insatiable.
In some ways, but I don't think it's toxic. I could agree with everyone when they are blatantly wrong but I'm not a sheep. I don't come here to complain about the game because if I didn't like the game I just wouldn't play. I think it's way more constructive to present the truth, which unfortunately is usually the opposite of what most people say here.

Yeah, that's why I said it wasn't toxic. But not far off (every now and then).
To not go further off-topic with the subject I will stop replying now. PB me on the subject if you want to continue ;)

Sorry but ice lance was something totally uninteractive, ice block is possible to play around it and don't sinergize with Malygos. Is 2 weeks that i don't lose to pirate warrior, play that crabs! XD you say Ice Block to the hall of fame? today i read about people askingo to rotate also Fiery war axe, Sap, Leeroy, Tirion, Edwin, Alex, Murloc WarLeader and Malygos. You see malygos on the ladder? I'm sure they will find a solution to pirates but there are plenty of decks and tech cards to face it, don't blame the designers, force yourself to be a more open and better player: you face only quest rogue? so run the Token druid. You face a lot of Pirates? play something with a good board control, come on, the game is amazing. try that shit of MTG than we talk again about HS
About the game itself yeah I rarely get salty. As one guy mentioned maybe if I am having a very very bad day or my blood pressure is rising because of hot weather here or I just ate a very delicious food.
But, I get very salty of this people keeps on complaining on everything. As if they pay taxes to live on this "game." Come on guys this is a cardgame. There are infinite possibilities every time an expansion will hit. Anyway as the other guy also mentioned different kinds of people to make one world.

I feel you about Magic the Gathering. Specially on Vintage format literal "TURN 1 KILL" or 2 turn lock opponents can't do anything or maybe infinite turns? As for MTG Standard format you will have to spend up to thousands of dollars just to be competitive that in a few months your cards are obsolete and you need to spend again. This also goes for other physical card games. But this game is great! And yeah you may say that I am a Blizzard Fanboy but who's not? People that keeps on whining about the game and yet they are still playing then again complain, cry for nerf, wish for someones death, oooh I am being salty now. Better stop typing.
Because people spent real money $$$ in this game and expect to win. Honestly though people who spend truck load of money in this thing doesn't have any more high % of winning then F2P players.
Let's be honest, the real, unpolicatically correct is...
Because they don't fuck.
I was going to add my thoughts to this but, /thread, this man got it.
On a more serious note, I agree with a lot of opinions here. I would even add something, we seem to be living in an era of self entitlement and if things don't go 100% the way people want/expect than be ready for salt storm or complaint time.
Now don't get me wrong, I do think that there are many valid complaints but if you pay close attention most times it seems to boil down to it not being 100% the way the person wants it. in the end the game is what it is, play it if it gives you fun and entertainment, if it doesn't find a new one and move on.
I will give my personal example from League of Cancer, all it did for me was to create stress and throw money down the drain (only time in my life I regret spending money in games), I insisted in playing it for some time untill I finally reallized it was not enjoyable for me at all, not a single bit, even in games the team was wining there would always be some kind of toxic behavior, tantrums or some negatve shit. So I just called it quits and never looked back, my gaming life has been better ever since.
i've noticed its the people who net deck and then lose to a deck of my own creation who get salty more often
Yes, and thats because if you play a netdecked aggro deck all the time, you most of the times have only one reason for playing: You want to win. So these people dont have any fun if they lose the game, other than if you play a deck that you enjoy
TBH i get salty too depending on the mood i'm in that moment but it's really childish to insult people and wishing them cancer for playing the game it's supposed to be played, had a bad game against pirate warrior? he probally didn't throw 1000$ at the game and wants to rank up a bit for once you can't blame him for that, yes it's annoying but live with it.
Being just salty is fine IMO but having to expess that to other people in that way isn't, that's just childish

There will always be salty people unfortunately ! You need every kind of people to make a world
I agree, best way to play this game :D
And strangely I tend to play better high

So... I guess my conclusion was right then.
If Hearthstone was a physical cardgame lol.

The game has a very significant RNG element to it, for that reason alone it's always going to make people salty when they're on the wrong side of it.

Death to all who oppose the Horde!
