Ok guys, it's about 2-3 weeks before the expansion hits, introducing a ton of brand new hyped up cards, yet I, as well as a large portion of the community have concerns regarding the furute meta, namely the well-known bane of contol decks - the jades. Needless to say that those guys impose a threat of killing all the attempts to play various conrol decks, including the quest mechanics, that require a presumably long game.
If Blizzard has any idea about what they're doing with their game, in this expansion they're gonna release some solution or a heavy counter, that would make jades and in particular Jade Druid not as control-stomping as they're now.
I decided to create this thread so that we could share our speculations and predictions about the hopefully upcoming nerf/counter/whatever.
Both of the quests introduced so far incentivize creating decks that would obliterate Jade Druid. Jade Druid has no answer to N'Zoth and is incredibly unfavored vs Discard Zoo. The quests are counters in and of themselves.
Also, someone really needs to explain to me how it is that Jades kill Control. Every Control deck I've ever played is able to beat them consistently.
I have not been disenchanting any Jade cards since the moment MsoG released, because it hinders design space for future control to an extent a nerf (maybe in a year from now) seems inevitable. I'm just hoping Crater will bring us something that's more interesting to play, and that people actually pick up on it :)

Jade idol nerfed to only shuffle Jade golems into your deck instead of new jade idols.
I think the best way to satisfy both partys is to make Jade Idol cost 2

It's already fixed. Just wait until the rotation and then there won't be a problem. No real need for another crybaby thread.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
They should've sent gad auctioneer to hall of fame with azure drake.
The combination of auctioneer's draw power with 0 -2 mana cards and jade idol is just too overwhelming against control decks past turn 10.
Wrath, wild growth, innervate and jade idol allow them to refill their hand AND their board too fast for any control deck to react.
