We've recently heard a couple of whispers that TPTB might actually start caring about Wild a little more. Blizzard is apparently going to start encouraging Wild tournaments and they're offering us full gold trade-in value for the soon-to-be Wild only Hall of Fame cards.
One thing contradicts the other... They say that to make people less unhappy but they do the opposite of caring about the wild at the same time - Hall of Fame!
They said cards are problematic for Standard yet they just pushed them in their dump Wild where they even pose bigger problems. For example Deathrattle decks are more powerful there cos of Deathlord, Belcher, Shredder etc. - they said they will rotate Sylvanas out of Standard cos it has too powerful deathrattle which will pose problem cos they will do something with deathrattle effect. Well in Wild it will be only bigger problem if anything. They said they want people to use other 8 drops so they rotated problematic Rag? Not in wild apparently. They said they don't want OTK combos, so they rotate Ice Lance? Even bigger problem in Wild since Freeze Mage is actually strong there cos of Scientists. And the list continues.
So even tho they say they care about it, they do exact opposite and it's just a fairy tale like before to make Wild players feel like it would matter. They didn't even want it to be ranked mode at 1st, they don't allow you to buy packs/adventures for it, they don't even reward points for making legend there, and now Hall of Fame is spit directly in Wild's face just proves this further.
The hall of fame cards were already in Wild. I don't understand your point. Making them wild exclusive will only help the format by making people who want to play those cards try it.
That's why I stopped playing this game. I don't want to waste anymore money on virtual cards whose existence is merely temporary. For the same money I could build a tangible deck for any other TCG.
So you don't want to play wild, but you want all the cards from wild to be available in standard so standard would in fact be what wild is right now.....
Come on, you really need to see the irony and admit your whining is just rediculous.

have you actually read the thread ? do you stop to think before writing your useless comments ?
how am i suppose to play wild if blizzard doesn't cosnider it a game mode really rather than a broken cards dumb that never sees any balance changes
have you actually read the thread ? do you stop to think before writing your useless comments ?
Ah, there is the favorit response of people who know they can't win it on arguments and therefor try to go ad hominem in an effort to silence the guy they respond to.
And again you claim you don't want to play wild, despite demanding blizzard to turn standard into exactly what wild is..... I kinda wonder if you actually read your own messages before and/or after you post them.....
WIld is merely a dumping ground for Blizz's mistakes. Nobody serious about the game gives a hoot about it. And Blizz did con people with those adventures. Never mind the Pay2play leeches, but people who actually spent cash on them - they were basically robbed.
Standard ruined hearthstone dividing the comunity... And playing wild is WAY more diverse and fun than playing standard.
Another issue i think that people have on the "aw too many powarfull cardz omgz so powerfull" is crap, you got only 30 cards in a deck, you can't just dump all the best cards in the game there, it makes no sence, those cards won't interact with each other, making them worse than themed thought out decks with consistent card interaction. And, maybe, another way to adress this issue is making this "aw so powarfull cardz so powar" legendaries... "So, you like your DR.6?, that guy that gives you like 12 crystals value on a 6 drop 6/6? ok, its legendary"
And, thinking on the "wild shop" and "wild packs", I think that whenever you get a golden card you get some sort of "Any card of same rarity Boucher". But, having a "wild adventures shop" would be nice, the pve content is really challenging!
Let's all pray for the downfall of standart format. The only thing HS needs is a fillter to mark cards you dont want to face (but giving you just 2 or 3 options), so, for example, you state on the filter "no Small time buccaneer, no patches and no Fiery war axe" then, you will fight agains decks that specifically dont have those 3 cards combined, but, warriors wirh patches and fiery war axe (w/o Small time buccaneer) will be unfiltered... When you go to a shop to play a TCG you can choose who you play or not depending on what OP deck/combo they play. a fillter this way will help people to avoid those decks they hate (as they would in real life), and teach the cheap bastards that use them a lesson you learn quite fast on other RL TCG... if you are an A-hole, you will only play A-holes... I remember on my MTG times, there was a guy on my local shop with a reanimator deck, copied card by card from a world champion, and there was another guy with a card by card copy of a necropotence deck. Just few players played them because they were plain borring, inimaginative, unoriginal, copied decks. And there was this guy, using a weird selfdesigned "Belbes portal+Angel" deck, that allmost everyone played him, because his deck was so weird and it allways felt fresh.
Having a "standard" Format is just streamlining the game even more...
If you never spent a penny then how could you have been burned? The only investment you have is the time playing the game, and I think the hours of entertainment you got from playing the game more than offset any loss you may be suffering because cards are rotating out.
Time is much more precious than money. Money could be replenished quite quick through labour and trade. But you can't do the same to time. There is no way money could buy you time.
Since a f2p player invests only their time in the game, they are paying with their most precious treasure. In other words, f2p players are actually playing the game the expensive way. Thus, when it comes to format rotation, f2p players should be more upset than paid players. Because they are losing more.
I would recommend people to buy adventures if they can. Because that is the less "expensive" way to enjoy the game.
This is complete nonsense.
If time is more precious than money, your most precious treasure, then you are stupid to be spending time instead of money.
But if you only have time to spend, and not money, then it is clear that money is your "precious treasure."
If your complaint is that you neither have the time nor money to play, then you need to find a different hobby.

I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but I actually play Wild for the imbalance I thought that was kinda the point.
and they are adding the hall of fame cards because they are making standard stale and they want standard to stay fresh
@Paeter27; it's balanced in the sense that when everything is broken... nothing is broken. That's definitely the goal though, and at least for now it's pretty much stayed in line with that goal.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
well i know that the rotation thingy was necessary to keep the game going..
but i am a free to play player (100% never spent a penny) and i've come to collect such a large collection..
from constantly playing the arena back in the days when gvg was just released, acquiring almost all the cards except legendaries and some useless epics..
in other words i grinded my ass off to get my collection, and i am just sad to see it unused , with standard being the official face of the game (even arena now is going to be standard)
i am starting to forget those cards even exsist, outside of some tavern brawls and a few wacky wild decks i dont even see them..
i know some of you will come here screaming just play wild, but thats not my point ..wild is largely abandoned by the devs and its more frustrating(much more) to play the game in it.. and apparently instead of nerfing card they'll start moving them to wild..like it's the game's dumb.
i dont know but a dust refund (like for those hall of fame cards) would be nice , or anything to make me feel less burned by my massive dead collection
Did you never stop to consider that the reason wild is so frustrating to play in, may be BECAUSE it has these cards in it? In other words, if they were still in standard, then standard would be just as frustrating. It's a good thing some cards get rotated out.
Wild is frustrating when you don't own the proper answers... Agro is unstopable right now because most of agro answers are in wild! Just look at the statistics of deck arquetipes on Standard and on wild! Wild is way more diverse and the game isn't so unidimentional, you gotta play considering between 2 or 3 possible decks depending on your enemy class... in standart you gotta consider how to play only against 3 decks... and just 3 decks, not the almost 20 or 25 viable decks on wild...

The irony...
and offending the OP instead of contributing to the disccusion ? you know in reddit they have a name for morons like you " childern"
disenchanting wild cards is never an option for me, it's like undoing and unmaking all my hard work and my long progress for scraps of dust

Just play wild
"but devs don't care about wild"
yeah thats true now, but blizzard has stated they'll be giving wild more attention this year.
Never spent money on the game. OP is such a joke. What never he has to make a baby rage post.
