so i've been seeing a lot of hunter again, the old version with the crocks and turtles i think it was kolento who popularized it, do you guys think it's really good in the current meta?
Yes hunter is coming back. I myself am playing it right now. I however am not using webspinners and creepers anymore. They are fun to play with but just not as consistant. sticking with stonetusk boars and timber wolfs as my one drops and river crockolisk as my two drop. i may go back to creeper if they fix it to where the deathrattle 2 1/1 tokens are beasts.

The fact that they aren't leads me to believe that the next expansion after Naxx is probably going to introduce some sort of 'undead' or 'spirit' synergy.
It is definitely making a comeback. Midrange hunter is the new control warrior. Sort of. It's a "generally decent against everything" deck nowadays, with slight variations in quality between matchups. (Slightly bad vs zoo, slightly good vs shaman, etc.) But it can beat anything right now, which is why people are running it. Webspinner and Haunted Creeper are also pretty nice cards to have now, allowing a better early game and control of the board. (32 card decks with Webspinner is nice.)
I've been having some good success with an Eaglehorn Bow + traps Hunter, only at crappy ranks so far though.
Webspinner is making me happy, to be honest it's probably not a smart pick but I've gotten a few legendary beasts out of it.
As NamelessDream3r said, I feel "generally decent against everything" with this deck. There's really no opponent that makes me think "oh man, I'm screwed."
Nerf or no nerf, an Unleash the Hounds combo can still turn a game around very quickly.

It is just as good as ever. Pretty good against zoo which I see most of the time... so a solid pick.
