First legendary I ever opened was Ysera aaaaaall the way back during the closed beta and I still have that copy of her to this day. Somehow I've always managed to resist dusting her for other stuff.
I agree that Thalnos is good and necessary, but.. How does a 15 health reset and filling your board with demons to resummon equal 'strong anti-synergy' ?
Thalnos is so good right now. The high drops aren't too much of a problem because you're likely to make it that long with the new tools warlock got. I think that Bane of Doom is not the best card though, and I'm curious why no Sunfury Protector or Defender of Argus?
I agree with this in some ways. Elise for Cairne seems good. Weapon removal is necessary, but would Gluttonous Ooze not be better for the armor? And you can play that earlier. Jaraxxus is a weird card for this deck. I also want him to be in there, but I don't think he actually benefits what this deck is trying to do. It might be best to leave him out, and keep in either the second DOOM! or the Medivh. I d'know.
Spark I just wanted to say that holy crap this deck runs so smoothly and is a joy to play and honestly the funnest thing on the ladder right now. And it beats quest rogue. I'm just so happy with this list, and I can't wait to see you somehow magically improve it, haha. Thanks a ton.
Dragomancy - Malylock Ancestral Destruction - Control Shaman with Elemental Destruction and Ancestral Knowledge/Ancestral Spirit The Villain - Control Priest ("You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.") Dat Handlock - Handlock was my first pro deck and my favorite, I haven't removed it or changed the name since then. So, basically, SW:P is a guaranteed (although conditional) 1 for 1 card trade. It generates no value, and you just stay even after you use it in terms of cards. As a priest, usually you want to get the most value possible out of your cards, often generating 1 for 2 or even 3 trades thanks to your hero power and buffing cards. That's why you want to be playing these early game minions to counter the opponent's cards instead of 1 for 1 cards like SW:P.
You can then ask why SW:D is good, and that's because it's often times more difficult for a priest, who plays minions with higher health and lower attack, to deal with these big fat minions with their minions alone. Oftentimes because of the minions you play you have to make a 2 or 3 for 1 trade and that never feels good. So SW:D alleviates that in a way SW:P can't.
Personally, I run one copy of SW:P for emergency situations or specifically for acolyte or imp gang boss. I also run a copy of holy smite (and vol'jin). Oftentimes holy smite's card text just reads "Kill that annoying knife juggler" and that's good enough for me. (But also can remove any minion ever with Vol'jin, so it's good vs control too.)
Personally I've loved and played Handlock since beta. I think favorite decks right now would be: Malygos-lock, Lock and Load Hunter, and Control Priest.
Level with me here. I was going to craft Justicar Trueheart next. I've been looking around and everyone says she is best in Flood Paladin and Control Warrior. While I was going to make her to play CW, I am now debating making King Krush just to play this deck. So the real question is, do you think this deck can be viable enough (and continue to evolve enough) to be worth postponing making Justicar Trueheart and crafting King Krush instead? I have enough dust to make 1 legendary right now and I'm really wanting to play Control (and more importantly Lock and Load) Hunter.

Why no Drain Soul. That card is great.
Otherwise I like it. Looks really solid.

There's Nerzhul? I always thought he'd be great as the warlock skin.

There's gotta be a place for Cairne in here... so much value... Thoughts? Replace Elise with him maybe? Is that too slow?

I'm very curious, please can you tell me some of the switches you can make for what kind of metas? Thank you very much.
