But why cant people play their own decks lol . i see way to many in rank play that copy all these decks online. i don't play to get to rank 1 and above i just play when i'm bored or to do the daily quest. i play my own made up deck and i can reach 14. Oh well i guess ppl need their hand held while playing games lol
They are HearthStone's Top Players. And the Legend Ones are HearthStone's Elite.
There shouldn't be any making fun of them, as they do what some others use excuses to justify not being able to do what they can do. And if the door is opened for underestimating the hard work they make to achieve high ranks in such competitive game, the some others will be really hurt.
The net decks are made by professional HS players / streamers of whom consider it a profession for living. And as a result of dedication and long time (that's not available for many) specified for making decks, trying them, re-evaluating, trying over and over again, and finally polishing and provide results, the result of all of that contributes in shaping the meta.
Not necessarily the ones who copy are not creative, and not necessarily the ones who don't ladder compete are lousy players.
The respect and appreciation for all HearthStone players should be maintained, as each enjoys the game in their very own way.

You can't harass members who play Face Hunter, nor are they compelled to make preemptive apologies or justifications for playing it. They don't hack or crack their opponents' game, they simply play existing cards that form a specific deck. If you suck at countering Face Hunter, you should blame the designers, not the community.
Maybe he's a casual player who doesn't spend every waking hour try-harding to rank up?
At least he's doing it with his own decks. I think that's as good as using other player's decks to reach rank 10+
net decking takes a hell of a lot of the thinking out of the game. You're basically awaiting a bunch of others to go through the trial and error process with certain decks, and make the required changes, then you just pick up after their hard work - copy the deck because you hear it's strong - and start playing immediately with a deck that may have taken weeks to perfect for others. And often, players fail doing this BECAUSE they haven't done the trial and error process personally, so don't know the deck inside out.
Not totally knocking net decking, just how I see it. I'm guilty of it too, but always make personal changes to any deck I try out, probably because of that reason - I didn't come up with the combos and synergies so I may not know how to use the deck most effectively. SO i add in ones I know from previous personal decks etc instead. Pretty much using net decking as templates. Bit lazy still ...
The fact is, we as players are extremely limited on the number of cards to choose from. Other card games have literally thousands, even tens of thousands of different cards to collect. If memory serves, Hearthstone is currently just shy of 400. Its like 382 or 386? Right around there.
Of these 380ish cards, there's quite a selection of them that are either A: Just bad cards or B: Not viable (or popular) in constructed. The opposite extreme is also true where there's lots of cards that are extremely useful and popular in constructed. As a result, most players that want to play in constructed and win tend to gravitate towards those cards.
Now many players will still experiment with new decks. Hell, I got Golden Priest using my own creations and I honestly don't think I went 10 games in a row without tweaking my deck or rebuilding it entirely. That being said, I still used many of the more popular cards you see constantly in ranked while doing so.
It's my hope that once the game is a bit older and we have double, even triple the card count we currently have access too, then maybe we'll see a wider variety of decks being played.
I am excited for more cards. 30 is small and just the start, but it is a first step to bettering the game. Seems like more and more people are getting burnt out with the game in its current state. Hopefully these sort of complaints will fade away as the game develops.
Cant tell if he is a troll or not,but i have a question myself: Why do ppl use serious decks on casual games? It should be a meta-free zone, where you can try out the wierdest stuff, not a place to farm quests and laugh at those dirty casuals :/
I imagine there is any number of reasons why someone would play a "serious" deck in casual. Learning to play the deck without risking rank, grinding dailies, intimidated by ranked laddering so they only play casual, trying out deck changes, etc.
Almost need a new game mode called "Chill". Where everyone plays weird decks and the emotes get changed to things like "Dude, nice", and "Whoops lol".

With a limited card selection you are going to see similarities in every single deck, regardless of whether the player built it himself or copied it from a posted deck. If you take another look at the deck you're playing now I guarantee that I can find many other decks online that are nearly identical...unless you're doing some weird Wisp / Angry Chicken mondo combo.

Yeah, I think testing is the main reason to play a "serious" deck in Casual. Learning a new deck, experimenting with some changes.. and not wanting to risk rank while you do it. Personally I'd rather do that in Ranked where I'm testing against the sort of opposition I'll be playing against (don't have much faith in Casual's hidden MMR) but I can well understand doing it in Casual. Particularly if your Ranked rank was pretty high.

Grats on first post :)
Everyone enjoys the game in their own way, what do you care?
I used to netdeck, but that got too boring so now I'll come up with crazy weird decks and most of the time I get to rank 14 as well Lol.
Rank 14? Nice.
Some people are creative, some are not. Also the people that make their own decks are most likely experienced with card games
