Im not a new player by any means, ive been playing since pre Naxx, although i stopped playing for a little between the releases of Naxx and GVG. While i don't consider 12 a particularly bad rank to end a season at like any player eventually id like to hit legend. while I'm sure a lot of whats holding me back is personal skill at the game I'm wondering if it could also be my decks. while i have a total of 14 decks i only use 4 of them in Ranked the others like a murloc paladin are only used in casual. The four decks i use in ranked are, Control warrior, Reno warrior, Secret Pally And a Deathwing Warlock. Sorry about the poor quality of the Deck Pictures but if anyone who consistently reaches legend or at least a higher rank than 12 can leave and advise, is the issues the decks or simply my own skill at the game which just takes more practice and effort.
I usually run 6 secrets in my Secret Pally. I think 10 will end up with you getting too many of them drawn instead of put into play.
I actually gave up on Secret Pally this season, just didn't seem to be working well. I haven't yet found something that is, and I'm also stuck around rank 12. But, I've been trying decks of my own design, which explains a lot of my difficulty :)
So far, Dragon Control Priest, no so good. Control Patron Warrior, not so good. Egg Secret Pally, not so good. Murloc Pally, not so good.
Now I'm trying Zoolock. Just going back to basics to see if I can get some movement.
Hey, I'm not a huge warrior player but I do have some input on Secret Paladin.
I would echo the others above and say that 10 feels like too many secrets. I reached legend with the list at the following link last season and it did well for me in Legend ranks also:
The main thing for me is to have a good, tested list and to stick with it for an extended period of time. When you know your match ups with the deck your win rate will go up significantly.
You're playing too many secrets in paladin. Lay on Hands seems redundant if you're playing Divine Spirit. Try: -2x Repentance -1x Competitive Spirit -1x Redemption -1x or 2x Consecration -1x Lay on Hands
+1x Haunted Creeper +1x or 2x Blessing of Kings +1x or 2x Keeper of Uldaman +1x Sludge Belcher +1x Truesilver Champion +1x Loatheb
You should be able to get to at least rank 5 with this deck.
For Warlock I recommend you rather play some form of Zoo.
I think secret pally is your best bet. I usually don't have any trouble getting to rank 5 or lower with it. As others have mentioned you are currently playing too many secrets, the only secrets that should be played as a two of are noble sac and avenge. Also I would run more 4 drops. I run 2 keepers of uldaman, a truesilver champion, and a blessing of kings. Secret pally is all about tempo, so having a good start makes all the difference -- to that end cutting a few secrets and adding more aggressive and midrange cards will make the deck play out more consistently.
So far the decks I've had success with is Zoolock, Dragon Priest, and my own midrange hunter variant. I haven't played much control warrior this season sadly which is one of my favorite decks but it has been for me at least matching up very poorly lately.
Your secret Paladin deck has too many secrets, only avenge and noble sac should be a 2x of. Layon hands is much worse than divine favor, sad to say. Remove 4 cards and add in 2x uldaman(if missing, sub with aldors), a sludge belcher and loatheb. Rank 5 should be easy with the most OP deck in Hearthstone.
Wow, 6 replies at time of writing, and they're all to improve secret paladin. What a meta we live in.
That aside, looking at your control warrior list, I think it needs more card draw. No point of having a ton of answers if your opponent plays too many minions for you to deal with. I'd swap in 2 Acolytes. As for what to cut, I'd say some subset of an Armorsmith, the Frothing, or possibly Saraad. These days, I find that Armorsmith isn't that useful against most early game minions, since most require multiple attacks to kill. Unlike patron, you also won't have many minions on your side to get armor value from. Likewise, the Frothing isn't nearly as scary as in patron, so it's mostly just a normal 3 drop against most decks that doesn't really advance your game plan. The Saraad is cool, but is mostly a soft taunt that most aggressive decks can probably ignore to some extent, since it requires you to spend 2 mana on hero power if you want it to be more than a 4/5 for 5 (a bit slow against today's meta). I do like it in control mirrors, so it's a bit of a meta call.
Apart from all that, it's also my personal belief that the Elise fatigue warrior version of the deck is just stronger overall as it has more consistency vs aggro, and will usually do better in the control mirror. Druid becomes an even matchup if you play it right and get a little lucky, rather than just a nightmare like it is against traditional control warrior.

Apparently, Hearthpwn won't save your signature if it's empty.
For me this has worked best for cw. Cruel taskmaster is needed for gromm as well as taking out minions in the early game. bash is great for stalling the early game, acolyte helps to defend against aggro early and hopefully draw justicar/brawls early, shieldmaiden because the whole point of cw is to armor up a lot. plus in some cases you can get her back to your hand and play again for more armor.
I use 2 brawls as well as Geddon because I HATE not having a brawl when I need one. Also many times opponents will bait out one brawl but don't expect the 2nd.
You're cw list looks pretty solid but I wonder if you may struggle a bit in the early game and maybe between the slams and harrison you may be drawing a little too much. Against priest or other control decks you may not want to draw that often.
Regarding Nexus Champion i feel its one of the most under rated cards to come out of TGT. In a control warrior you end up armoring up most turns in the late game anyway so he can provide you with free spells. while you do get the occasional spell you don't want to use even spells like Savagery which is terrible in its original class is actually really good in warrior.
I probably wouldn't run any armorsmiths and just replace them with another Bash and Shieldblock. Also I wouldn't run Frothing Bezerker and I would probably replace it with a piloted shredder or another shieldmaiden.
Alexstrasza is also not really all that necessary in CW these days. Probably could just double up on Revenge instead. You have plenty of late game already.
For your Secredin:
As a lot of people pointed out you are probably running too many secrets. Repentance is largely not used anymore and you only really need to run 1 competitive spirit.
I would add 1 haunted creeper, 1 keeper of uldaman, 1 sludge belcher
Also swap out 1 consecration for 1Truesilver.

Too many secrets in deck 3. Also take out Lay on Hands.
You need Keeper (or 2) and Peacekeeper.

You can also try any other deck in the Tier 1 or maybe Tier 2 lists.

My advice:
-1 competitive spirit, -1 redemption, -1 repentance, -1 lay on hands, -1 divine favor, -1 consecration
+1 haunted creeper, +2 keeper of uldaman, +1 blessing or truesliver, +1 Loatheb, +1 Sludge Belcher
I would try Zoo. The games are usually fast and its working well right now. Currently at rank 6 with it.

I got down to 8 last season using mostly control warrior. Just my preference but below is my cw deck compared to yours:
-1 revenge, -2 slam, -1 frothing berserker, -1 harrison jones, -1 nexus-champion saraad
+2 cruel taskmaster, +1 bash, +1 acolyte of pain, +1 brawl, +1 shieldmaiden
For me this has worked best for cw. Cruel taskmaster is needed for gromm as well as taking out minions in the early game. bash is great for stalling the early game, acolyte helps to defend against aggro early and hopefully draw justicar/brawls early, shieldmaiden because the whole point of cw is to armor up a lot. plus in some cases you can get her back to your hand and play again for more armor.
