I played a little bit back in the beta and decided to come back with the wow token to bnet balance. So far I have bought the welcome pack, got all classes except Priest, Lock and Druid to 10. From the looks of things I was working towards a r20-r15 Mage deck at the time. Coming back I can see Mage decks get pricey super fast! I was considering working towards a mid range hunter, even with my minimal hunter card pool it's the cheapest to build. Would be using Mage as a secondary class. So curious what people would suggest to build based on my collection to get a bit more efficient gold/dust gathering and if any fo these decks are worth building towards given my pool?
Go for a cheap tempo mage because a bunch of basic cards like mirror image and arcane missiles are viable. I got legend this season with an aggro burn mage and the only really expensive things in the deck were 1 pyroblast and 2 primordial glyph. Heres a good deck to use, not too expensive. You can replace thalnos for maybe a firelands portal (its a common)
Go for either a face hunter or midrange hunter. The cheapest mage deck that is remotely viable would be an aggro secrets version. But mage will still be pretty pricey.... You can find many varieties of these decks on this site.
Added the below link, it was a cheap-ish mage deck I climbed a few ranks with. Was pretty much trying to 'try' to be semi-consistent against Quest Rogue.
painKILLER3964, that is a solid looking deck. only drawback i can see is its 3.6k to build with my current cards.
laadeedaa, Mage certainly does get expensive right quick. Makes sense, they have a solid pool of rares and epics. Coming from beta it was much cheaper back then to build a viable r15 mage. That deck linked does look like a solid mid priced Mage deck. Mind it seems overall that face or mid hunter is a lot more economical overall.

@Xenomeow, BTW there is a REALLY cheap druid deck on the home page of this site that made it to Legend so.... Might want to take a look at that one!
there is also a cheap un'goro hunter facedeck with over 1k upvotes on it. supposedly it can at least go rank 5 possibly legend.
cheap easy win the deck was called.
Necronomnicon, Thanks for the suggestion! I will go check it out.
Looked in to it, will cost me the same as the mid range deck I listed (920). Solid option, thanks again.
