Hey guys, KaoticKreature here, coming back with some cool cards and this time around they are... LEGENDARY NEUTRAL WEAPONS! This idea just came into my head so I made some neutral weapons from some of Legendary weapons in Warcraft. Ok, without further ado, lets get started.
Sulfuras is a Ragnaros the Firelord but for the hand. The way this works is that if they have a minion in their hand and Sulfuras kills it, it just dies and gets discarded. One of the fun interactions is with Piloted Shredder. How this works is the Piloted Shredder dies then summons the 2-drop. If there are any confusions with Deathrattle minions, just put it in the comments. Also, the stats are irrelevant except for cards such as Savagery and Harrison Jones.
WarglaiveofAzzinoth is a pretty basic and simple weapon, with the same effect as Foe Reaper 4000. Cleave is just a new keyword I added in as it makes sense.
Thunderfury could potentially be a really heavy-hitter and great removal card if you get that 50% to work in your favour. But it is also a risk if the 50% goes against you.
Atiesh lacks in stats, especially compared to the last 3 weapons, but it makes it up with its 'mini Malygos' effect. This is also very useful as it is harder to remove than minions therefore, you can play it pre-emptively without much worries.
Thori'dal also lacks in stats, but unlike the other weapons, it very useful in the early game as a good removal and tempo card. If you play it on curve, every turn, you get a free 2 damage removal.
Shadowmourne while it appears to not be that big in stats, it snowballs like hell. If you kill a Piloted Shredder, it becomes a 6/2. This weapon also really incentivizes trading for 2 attacks then whacking face for a ton of damage.
Val'anyr is not an offensive weapon and is meant to also incentivize trading along with Shadowmourne. It's pretty much 4 Circle of Healing for 4 mana.
FangsoftheFather is once again a weapon that incentivizes trading. You have to take damage from the first trade but then you can swing again for a second trade for free.
Dragonwrath is a weapon that can really be abused in some decks. This is an effect that is also a 'mini Prophet Velen' effect for one spell. This could be really interesting if you can pull it off with Pyroblast for a 22 damage wombo combo.
And now, for frosting on the crown, its THE LICH KING!!!
Frostmourne is one of my favourites (not biased at all :)). And since we have Majordomo Executus, it will make it interesting to swap between heroes on a whim. The weapon is also pretty substantial, nothing to be laughed at. The Hero Power is also pretty good, since you have to pay 9 mana to get TheLichKing anyway.
Well, that unfortunately brings us to the end of my neutral Legendary weapon creations. If you liked it, please +1 this thread. Also, if you have any suggestions, changes or even just want to leave a comment, just do so below. Also, please feel free to leave your own creations below. Thanks! KaoticKreature
The major issue I have is that neutral weapons are just, weird, a priest should not be wielding a massive fuck off sword

I really don't like the conceptual idea of making weapons neutral and thus accessable to every single class in the game. I just think it doesn't fit the game and some mechanics should remain unique to a certain pool of classes just like i think not every class should eventually get secrets.
Just wanted to raise that concern but won't actually let that influence my critizism on what you've come up with here.
Sulfuras - really needs to loose durability whenever the effect triggers. I guess thats intended anyways but that needs clarification. The concept itself is really great even though the card itself is arguably too good. 8 damage kills almost any minion in this game and this would potentially kill 8 minions without you taking damage which is usually the drawback of a weapon.
Take that into concern and the problem that there are actually very few ways to counter weapons in this game and the card is some serious shit.
Fangs of the Father - It is a lategame card which helps to offset it's powerful effect but this is crazy if you actually manage to buff it up and while i'm not necessarily seeing that would be a problem at this point it would pretty much limit the design of other cards. If we introduce such powerful weapons to the game - and that applies to Sulfuras as well - it basically means that there can't ever be reliable weapon acceleration in the game.
Dragonwrath - 8 mana just to allow you to deal 2 damage to a minion and increase the damage another card would do... thats just an incredible tempo loss and probably wouldn't see any play.
The rest of the weapons are interesting by concept. Some would need some balance tweaking but this is theory crafting after all so i guess it's fine. Overall pretty good work there.
I do understand where you are coming from with not wanting weapons to be neutral but as you said, this is theory crafting so I'm thinking it's fine for now.
Sulfuras: Yeah, I was meant to have it lose Durability, so I will fix it up. Your concern with one-shotting most minions in the game doesn't really concern me. A lot of minions at the moment have Divine Shield or effective Deathrattle effects i.e. Piloted Shredder. Then again, it is an 8 mana Legendary, so it is very costly.
Fangs of the Father: I don't feel like this is OP so I think I will keep it the same.
Dragonwrath: You also have to consider that it can be used on the face. As I said, a 22 damage combo with Pyroblast or just a ton of damage with Fireball. It can also be used 4 times to it can deal some serious damage.
This is pretty much to everyone. I understand that it is awkward for a Mage or a Priest to be holding a massive Fiery Hammer (Sulfuras) but just ignore the aesthetic of it. Just think of it as a card that does this, not a weapon, not a Priest, just ignore the aesthetic and go to the gameplay.

it doesnt really make sense for casters to have a massive melee weapon...
the only thing i can see as a neutral weapon would be like a shortsword that has "make you hero power cost 1 less" or something like that
