Welcome to my Theorycrafting page a Hearthstone adventure linked to Warlords of Draenor, a theme of which travels a unique path from Naxxramas and Goblins vs. Gnomes.
The adventure is Journey into Highmaul. I may create the Molten Core raid as well, however I feel the experience would be a little too repetitive, and many of the bosses present in it have already been made into Hearthstone cards.
I will upload the individual bosses one at a time, along with information including their quotes, unique cards, deck, and rewards. Many of these aspects will be similar to the Curse of Naxxramas adventure, with silly satirical commentary from the final boss, in Highmaul's case being Imperator Mar'gok. Having said this, it will take a little bit of time between each upload, as I will be creating the cards and ideas from scratch, including trying to find artwork, etc. Any help or comments are appreciated, and I hope to inspire anybody who would like to theorycraft ideas for future expansions in Hearthstone.
(Opening up Journey into Highmaul for the first time) Imperator Mar’gok: Welcome to your demise.
(Mousing over Kargath Bladefist) Imperator Mar’gok: Kargath’s right hand is actually a blade. Enough said.
Kargath Bladefist
Quotes: (Introduction) I will show you the true meaning of pain! (Emoting at Kargath) This isn’t the time for foolish talk! (Summons a minion) Let’s give the audience something to chew on! (Defeat) I have been… defeated…
Hero Power: Slice
Battlefield: Each hero has a Firepillar on their side of the battlefield.
Unique Spells: Impale, Blade Dance, Berserker Rush, and Chain Hurl.
Unique Minions: Drunken Bileslinger, Iron Bomber, and Iron Grunt .
The cards with no rarity are unique to Kargath Bladefist. If you've ever played Naxxramas you would see that their cards can be a little OP, considering the Iron Grunt isn't as powerful as Gothik the Harvester's 1 mana 2/2 with deathrattle. As for the tribe theme, can you please elaborate a little?
Only problem I have with this is I don't think the hero power is OP enough. 2 mana deal 2 damage is better than any other hero power, but I think deal 3 damage would be better. If you want to keep it at 2 dmg that's ok, but when you do the heroic mode bosses, make sure it's incredibly OP such as 1 mana deal 5 damage.
On a side note, to insert a picture... First go to www.imgur.com, click upload picture, then browse computer, select file, then click start upload. After it has been uploaded look on the left side for "HTML (website / blogs)" and select the text in the box below it.
Then back at Hearthpwn, when creating a post click the html button, next to the card and deck linkers. In the box that pops up scroll to where you want to insert the picture and just paste the text you copied, then press update. After you submit the post it will show the picture.
You can do other more advanced stuff like resize the image, just google 'html image commands' (or something of the sort) and browse around. Also, any image hosting site will work, imgur is just very quick and easy with no account signup.
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. - T. E. Lawrence
I don't see the purpose of Drunken Bileslinger is that a card that is suppose to help you?
It's not that complicated. The card right next to it says exactly what it is... Just like a Cone of Cold without the freeze.

Yes, yes I see the other card but I don't see the purpose of it. a 5 mana 6/3 are bad stats, and it gives you a COC w/o freeze. Some naxx cards for some bosses help you.I thought this card would be like one of them, just making sure that it is.
Also keeping in mind this is the first boss, so I intended it to not be very difficult. Drunken Bileslinger isn't supposed to help you, alike Loatheb's spores, if that's what you mean. His effect causes Kargath to draw the removal, not you.
Oh, I see now. Well, the "tribe" I made for the Kargath cards + reward is dealing damage/ offensive stats. Pretty much everything on the offensive side.
(Selecting The Butcher) Imperator Mar’gok: Finally, more than just mutton on the menu!
Quotes:(Introduction) Butcher: Come here, you scrawny grabber! (First use of Cleave) Butcher: Just a slice off the top! (Emoting at The Butcher) Butcher: Uhhhhh… what? (Defeat) Butcher: Nooooo!
Hero Power:
Battlefield: The Butcher has a void deck slot labelled “Can’t draw cards,” alike Patchwerk, but has all his spells and weapons in hand.
Unique Spells: , ,
Unique Weapons:,
Deck: (Hand) 1x Cleave, 1x Bounding Cleave, 1x Meat Hook, 1x The Cleaver, 1x The Tenderizer

(Upon defeating The Butcher) Imperator Mar’gok: Congratulations, you’ve made us all vegetarians.

Can't see the image from the spoiler for some reason.

I have a problem with 1 mana vanilla 2x2. It just seem like to much.
Also may I suggest perhaps another tribe theme? Not as the mechs that would be too much but perhaps akin to the ogres?

Thank you very much, I was wondering how everybody managed to do that. I'll use that method for the next bosses when I get to them.

Ah, then I guess the grunt is not OP enough ;)
There are several tribes in hearthstone such as mechs and murlocs.
What I call mini tribe is maybe just a theme. Think Brewmasters and Ogres such as Ogre Ninja.
Maybe draenor orcs with a mini gazrilla effect?
Oh, I see now. Well, the "tribe" I made for the Kargath cards + reward is dealing damage/ offensive stats. Pretty much everything on the offensive side.

Wow i'm dumb I thought DrunkenBileslinger gave your opponent the massing brew, whoops.
