So this topic will be a bit different. I am not going to make cards, i just choosed characters for each class from a specific event from Warcraft-history, who can be the backbone of the expansion. Some of the classes have 2 options, this means, one option can be class legendary, other one is neutral or maybe even alternate hero, i think Xavius is a good option for alternate warlock. The reason why a made this is to show, that Hearthstone is doing it's own lore for no reason, when there is a lot of important parts of lore remain uncovered, i guess that's why they removed Heroes of Warcraft from the title.
Warrior
Broxigar the Red is the greatest warrior of all time, who managed to injure Sargeras himself, to help close the portal he was coming trough. But Broxigar's part in this War is because of time-travel, so if make this expansion without mentioning about time travel, Kur'thalos Ravencrest is a great warrior too.
Shaman
Dungard is a leader of the Earthen dworfs, who are very close with, well, earth itself, so that's why he can be a shaman legendary. Unng Ak is a leader of Furbolgs, who also practice shamanism, so it's an option too.
Mage
Krasus is actually dragon Korialstrasz and he appears as both in this War, but this form is actually time-travel thing also, so maybe better to use Queen Azshara instead, anyway she should be a part of expansion, as Mage card or neutral, doesn't matter.
Priest
This one a bit tricky, there is high presence of Priestess of Elune in this war, but main character - Thyrande Whisperwind is already used and there is no other notable priestess, besides maybe Shandris Feathermoon, who will become sort of huntress eventually, so that's not an option too. On the other hand, red dragonflight is know for serving the life itself, so that's why Tyranstrasz - main consort of Alexstrasza at the time can be a good priest legendary and help to bring Dragon-Priest back.
Druid and Hunter
Wild Gods played a big role in this war, but some of them are already in game: Cenarius, Malorne, Aviana. So we can bring the bear bros Ursoc and Ursol together as Druid legendaries and Agamaggan as a more savage one - hunter legendary.
Rogue
This one is hard too, Maiev Shadowsong is used again, so i bring her brother, Jarod, who is mostly warrior, but he can be sneaky, if he needs.
Warlock
So the main villains of this war were demons, Xavius and Mannoroth are just a part of them. Archimonde was one of the leaders also, but i don't want to bring him without his brother Kil'jaeden, so yeah. As i mentioned, Xavius can be a Warlock alternate Hero also and Mannoroth is a legendary then.
Paladin
This one is hard too, but Varo'then is a great example of man of the duty, who served his queen without a question, that's why it can make him a great Paladin legendary.
Neutral
Some honorable mentions, Huln is a leader of tauren, he is hunter, but since all Hunter legendaries are beasts, that's why he can be a neutral legendary, like Hemet. Also Hakkar the Houndmaster can be a neutral demon, because he is not big enough character to be a warlock legendary, but still played some part in the event.
Also this expansion will be a great opporunity to reprint Illidan Stormrage, to be playable. And another Deathwing reprint just for the lulz, because this events actually made him what he is. Rhonin can be reprinted too, since he played a big role thanks to time travel.
