answer: no it wont..... this card is like a combo card for aggresive mages like turn that 0/2 mirror image token into a 4/2 charge huffer-like. it just makes use of useless tokens. its not a bad card it might see play in tempo mage? idk maybe its not something amazing though
I'm calling that this card will be one of the best cards from the TGT expansion. The card is so flexible and strong! You are extremely likely to get both value and tempo from this.
absolutely. I got a poly in my freeze mage deck. Now I can polyhog + flamestrike or fireball ping polyhog if no taunt for 11 damage. So much value, so much fun, so much polyhog!
It can also act as insurance when unstable portal gives you a wisp or a target dummy. Or you can use it when piloted shredder deathrattles an ancient watcher.
I wouldn't call this OP, but it's definitely one of the more creative and versatile cards of the expansion. I'm actually quite impressed with this one, I tip my hat to the designers for it.
Good card, not insane but certainly playable. Also it's one of a very few aggressive cards pushed in this expansion along with Argent Horserider, Gormok the Impaler, and Totem Golem (if you even want to call Totem Golem "aggressive"), so I'm a bit stoked for this card just for that reason.
But here's what really gets me: Polymorph: Boar easily wins for my favorite card design of the expansion. The person who came up with this is pretty clever. It's so cool how for 1 mana less compared to Polymorph you get something that you can't ping off with your hero power, but it also has all this other insane utility to go along with it.
Theoretically you can summon a Charge minion and attack, then cast this to attack for an additional 4 damage.
I know I'm a little late to the play; but I recently added the card to one of my Mage decks and after I attacked with my Azure Drake my opponent had just three health left. I was almost ready to end my turn when I had an epiphany and polymorphed the Drake for the win. I'm really kicking myself for not including one of these in the deck sooner. It's an amazingly good offensive and defensive card depending on the circumstances.

I might throw one of them into my Mage decks but not sure about it replacing good ol Vanilla.
one of the best cards of the expansion
That was the first card I thought of when I saw this.
Always Huffer!

Nope.
Mirror Image into Polymorph: Boar can prove to be really good in Tempo Mage.
This and Spellslinger are definitely getting tried out in my Flamewaker deck.
LOL! I just read the flavor text for this card. haha!
As usual, mage gets the most OP card of the expansion

From a lore-perspective, it's gonna be strange wanting to Polymorph your own minions more often than your opponent's
