Hey, hearthstone developers if you nerfing Dr.boom it will make me so happy.
Deal damage to enemy minions would actually make Dr.Boom more powerful, as it allows him to control the board more.
So what you are saying is you want the card Dr. Boom gone completely then yes? or what is the best way to deal with the card?
1 . turning the Boom Bot card to 0/1 - Zoo will have fun with taunts any way
2. Making the Boom Bot lower in Rng (isn't going to make people happier) ...unless its a 1 DMG only
3. Making Dr. Boom like an 8 or 9 drop - by then you already know who is about to win
4. Get rid of Dr. Boom completely -- nonsense
5. Making Dr. Boom an 8 drop with Boom Bot cards being a 0/1 - again too late ..
6. Boom Bot cards like a 0/3 - 0/4 - Zoo yet again would have fun
7. Making the Boom Bot card (not so random but like 2 DMG) - that would be fine I think :s
8. Make the Dr. Boom card a 5/5- 6/6 - Out of BGH range .. yikes
honestly I don't think he is that bad I think there is a lot of cards like Dr. Boom for example Goblin Blastmage or Flamewaker thats just the mage ..
Ship's Cannon,Mad Bomber,Madder Bomber,Avenging Wrathwith a big card behind that .. and of corse Rag ..
my idea is if the card would be nerfed I could see .. The Boom Bot card acting like a Mad Bomber card the Rng would be 50/50 so it might hit your enemies face or minions but it also might turn on you and hit your minion or your face .. (since the Goblins mess up their inventions anyway)
My stance has always been that the bots should be truly random. That's what everyone THOUGHT the card was gonna be when it was first revealed. Those saying that would make the card useless are spouting hyperbole (are Mad/Madder Bomber "useless"?) unless by "useless", they mean "no longer an auto-include in every deck".
No, we mean "not played in ANY competitive deck", just like mad bomber and madder bomber. Sorry but if the bots were random amongst allies and foes, the Dr. would be garbage and not played ever.

if Boom Bot were a stand-alone card, with its current effect, how much do you think it should cost?
2 Mana - just because the Mad Scientist card is and we all know he can do some work
I agree on 2 mana (1.5 if possble), but I fail to see the comparison. Mad Scientist is vastly superior to a Boom Bot as a stand alone card.
My logic of it was a hunter Using Mad Scientist plusExplosive Trap but I suppose it is OP the only thing that these two cards have in common is that they are both annoying really ..opps :P
No one would include boom bots at 2 mana. They can't contest any popular 2 drop.
One mana boom bots would see play, but even then the popular 2/1 cards are arguably better.

If EVERYONE is either playing a specific card, or playing a specific counter, then yes, that specific card should probably be looked at. this has already been discussed at many lengths in the thread.
also "never" was never used. The quote is "there are no plans at this time".. which is the same thing that was said about Undertaker
Yes but people spend time and (possibly) money to craft him. Besides he doesn't fit in aggro decks and it's not like he's crazy OP. Just great value for 1 card, which is why he fits in every deck much like sylvanas. If they nerf him, I think the only thing they might do is increase his mana cost because it's crazy value for a 7-drop neutral. Maybe 8-mana to balance him or 9-mana to make him a bit unplayable.

Boombots would be 2 mana, I want to know what people are smoking if they think it would cost lest than that. So Dr. Doom is effectively an 11 mana value card for 7. Actually more than that, since you are playing all those minions with one card.
"Legendary" isn't a license to be ridiculously imbalanced. For the record, I'm not a fan of Rags, either.
Again, you don't think it's problematic that a single card, in being an auto-include, makes its counter also an auto-include?
I do agree, however, that we likely won't see any direct nerfs to Boom until they see how the next card batch affects things (BRM didn't have a large enough neutral pool to have a noticeable effect).
The biggest problem is the 7 slot is pretty bad so one good card is considered to be OP really fast.

Beside Boom's value there is another problem. He hurts the diversity of the meta. Due to Boom being everywhere, BGH is being run in many decks that wouldn't before. This means many other 7+ attack drops that would be run before have been removed cause of BGH, which is only so popular cause of Dr. Boom.
So what will Blizzard do? Well Boom is the GVG seller, much like undertaker was the naxx seller. It is too soon, I suspect by the time the next expansion comes out Boom will be adjusted. Boom is stronger than undertaker, gadzastan, buzzard, leroy ever were...however he is likely selling a lot of gvg packs.
I always cry huge tears whenever I see Boombots - they make me so sad that I even cry when my own appear.
