I'm predicting Quest Shaman to be the most oppressive deck in the upcoming meta, yes. I agree, I think it's just too good. It's an easy Tier 1 deck that's not remotely hard to navigate (ie: play well).
After having seen it played on Twitch for the last few days, being able to cheat out so much burst damage with lackeys and wasps....it's kind of impossible for it to not be good. I've actually been brainstorming exactly what deck counters Quest Shaman and I'll be honest, I can't think of one. There's little counterplay to the battlecries and the value the provide. If someone can come up with a deck that crushes Quest Shaman, let me know.
Also, the most OP deck in the expac by far is going to be some sort of midranged big spell mage. Puzzle Box of Yogg Saron is insanely broken, and there's literally a card that makes it cost 5 instead of 10.... Not to mention, there's another card that makes it so it becomes a 10 10 minion if you don't play it, not to mention there's another card that's 8 mana and lets you play an 8 mana puzzle box the same turn with a 5 5 body, not to mention mage got an Innervate that draws a card (the 2 mana draw a secret spell). Yeah it's going to be fun playing against tier 1 aggressive midranged casino mage... At least it'll actually be fun to play the deck yourself though.
Puzzlebox ain't that good, thats too rng to be top tier
might be wrong tho
Sir, you must have never played against Yogg'Saron. All I'm going to say, there was a reason the card got nerfed.
I played both with and against pre nerd yogg, Mylord (really loved that card tho) and you might be right, but yogg could do more than 10 spells, came with a body that could sometimes survive, and the powerlevel of cards back then was overall less strong than what we have now, so this card feel less OP to me but again, I might be wrong, Im not really sure.
What Im damn sure about is that freakin' poorly designed chaman's quest where you got some fireballs for 3 mana with a 3/3 body

It is terrifying in standard, never mind the nonsense it can do in wild. On the same vein, the druid quest is really scary if you can complete it, and it could very well break wild with Jade Idol.
