Bit of a funny one for me, this one. I cobbled together a simple Shaman evolve deck to try and complete today's "Win 3 games as Shaman (or Mage)" quest.
First game was against an Odd Paladin. Turn 1, and I chuck out my little Fire Fly minion. Ha-HA! Little 1/2 dude! Reckon the guy must have lost his bottle. Rope came along, then "Your Opponent Left!".
Ok, fair enough. Easy win. Next game. This one's against a Priest. Never found out which one. Turn 1. Little Fire Fly hits the board again like a red and yellow gangsta! Along comes that rope once again. Anduin's shaking in his boots. "Your Opponent did the yellow fandango...!" 2-0! Awesome!
Right. Match 3. It's a druid. Gotta be Meca'thun or Mill I reckon. Can't tell you what the odds are, but blow me if that little champ Fire Fly didn't pitch up in my starting hand again! :-) He hits the board. My opponent actually responds this time. He passes his turn. Looks like Fire Fly needs some back up. Out comes his chum, Flame Elemental. Malfurion's obviously had enough. The time ticks away and then so does the rope. And then shortly after: "Your opponent has a yellow streak longer than a herd of diahorritic camels..."
Now, I'd be persuaded to believe that some people were just having a bad time of it with the whole connection status in the game. But personally? I think they're all just terrified of the wee flamey fella!
Good job, Fire Fly! Easiest quest complete of my life! :-D
To be honest, i have been gettin disconnects all day today (EU). So they were experiencing the same issues i would argue :) But funny story nevertheless :)
