I played Naga Sea With with Warlock and I just hit Rank 5 for the first time... I'm gonna miss this card... I wont be in time to reach legend at this point with Naga Sea Witch... It has been a journey of 4th turn + Coin + Naga and 2 giants... 5th Turn Laotheb = Opponent auto-concedes.
It was so much fun. I will forever remember this moment where I am deeply sad of a nerf... It is a provilage to dust you for 800 smackeroonies... Good bye Naga...
I played wild last night, it was nothing but nagalocks and hyper aggro decks, got bored after 10 games and went back to playing standard spiteful druid. Couldn't get past rank 4 in wild, managed to hit rank 5 standard. Wild is going to be much better soon.

Hyper Aggro decks have issues with Dragon Priest. If you insert a couple Duskbreakers in the deck, and auto-pick it off of Netherspite Historian if it shows up as an option, they lose when it gets played on turn 4. The weakness those decks have is their lack of card draw, whereas Dragon Priest has draws and pseudo-draws to make the deck flow.

Exactly. Dragon Priest can easily deal with it, but it had the same issue as other Midrange-decks: it gets totally destroyed by Naga-decks. Midrange did not exist back then.
Right now, Midrange is back into the meta and it's totally destroying the meta, because nobody techd against midrange, because the best tech against it was Naga.

Don't forget midrange took a serious hit with the Spiteful nerf! I did ok with a Spiteful dragon priest last season, but I am not convinved it is viable anymore.
Jade druid and various reno decks should also hold their own vs aggro, right?
Well: they would only need to change the card text to say: your minions cost ALWAYS (5); then they could have changed it back to the old version; but i doubt that she would be stronger. Even with the nerf, naga seems still stronger than the old version of her. But yes, maybe it would be nice to have her old effect back, at least for future decks where it maybe make sense.
