If the rules of getting Arcane Dust for HoFed cards are the same as last year, then you will not get the dust for 4 copies of the same card, only 2 - the maximum amount that you can put in a deck (golden cards over normal ones).
Hey I am kinda new to Hearthstone and this will be my first active change of the year, maybe you can explain smth to me:
Should I start to disenchant all the cards of the packs rotating out or is it better to keep them for some reason?
If you ever want to be able to chose whether you want to play or standard, keep them.
In general: Disenchanting cards is always bad value. For 4 legendaries, you can craft one new legendary. After 2 rotations, you reduced 16 old legendaries into one new one. And so on. I personally prefer to be able to switch to wild when the standard meta starts to bore me. Besides, PvE content benefits also from a bigger card pool.
So, just to be sure so i don't do anything stupid :)
Right now i have: 1 regular Ice Block 1 regular Mountain Giant = 800 dust when new year begins
Then the best thing to do now is to craft: 1 golden Ice Block 1 golden Mountain Giant = 3200 dust when new year begins
And then dust the golden ones for 800 dust (because i will not play wild in the near future)
Is that the correct way to do it to maximise my dust profit ?
Yea bro, that's how you maximize your dust profit, you'll spent 3200 dust and gain 4000 (+800 profit already), and if u disenchant the golden copies of Ice Block and Molten Giant, you'll gain +800 dust, which means 1600 profit for u.
Ok so as I understand it, there is no net gain from crafting the golden versions of the HoFed cards if you already own the common. Here's the math on that:
A: just two common ice blocks: refunded 800+later DE= 1000 total
B: own two common ice blocks but craft golden ice blocks: 3200 craft cost-3200 refund+800 DE+ 200 common DE=1000 dust.
Therefore, only craft the golden copies if you either want the golden copies for free and weren't planning on DEing or if you don't own the common versions.
Hope this clears things up. Feel free to comment on my math because i think it's right but i can't say it's entirely straightforward.
Yeah I realized it (too late though for your response). It is as I stated in the beginning: It does not matter. if you keep regular ones and DE golden ones, it is the same. if you keep all of them, then you probably want the golden ones which saves a lot of dust for crafting them.
I updated this thread (all credits goes for the original creator) with the new Hall of Fame, check it for any questions.

Oh so only 2 cards, be it normal or golden ? so better craft the golden ones even if we don't have the normal, thank you guys.

Exactly, just worth craft golden (for profit) when u don't have the regular one.
So i have 2 Oracle, 0 Block and 0 Giants, i should craft 2 golden giants and and 2 golden blocks, but no golden oracles ?

Since the oracles are common cards, it is worth it to craft golden cards and DE them afterwards for a whopping gain of 20 extra dust.Clear now, thanks. That ultimate guide is beyond my English understanding :D

No never disenchant unless you have 2 other copies already.
So in the end : Do they refund the CRAFTING price or the DUSTING price ?
- Craft 2 Golden Blocks and 2 Golden cards for 6400
- After the Expack, we keep the cards we crafted, we get 6400 back for FREE
- Disenchanting those 4 Golden cards we crafted for 1600
Right ?
Craft golden oracles on top of regular ones: 800 dustGetting back: 800 dust for golden ones. DE everything: 10 for regular and 100 for golden => gain is 110keep regular ones: 0 dustgetting back: 80 plus 10 dust for DE two regular ones = gain is 90So it is even worth to craft golden copies of regular cards if you want to maximise your dust gain. I correct it in my above post.keep regulars costs 0 get 200 back

That's right, no point in crafting them in golden to DE them later
